[2.6] CRIT HoWA BF/ST Raider [13k ES, 60k BF/265k GMP ST DPS, Stun-immune] [4 sec Chayula kill]
" Agree with Invalesco... HoWA is, unfortunately pretty expensive. However, if you already have a high-level toon, there's tons of money making opportunities this league: The following ideas will work in softcore and probably will work in hardcore but I don't play HC and so some of the items below might not work in HC league: 1) Flip currency; 2) Sell leaguestones; 3) Sell prophecies; 4) Farm Rigwald; 5) Farm Uber Laby - craft enchants on nice helms and sell them; 6) Farm Vinktar's square - selling flasks is profitable etc. The point being - although HoWA gear is really expensive... given the numerous ways of making currency this league, you should be able to farm up enough currency to start on HoWA and then improve your toon as time goes on. " Yeah the shocking stuff was more for the benefit of the guy we were answering haha. And yeah it's definitely fun to try and squeeze more and more out of the build. It does start to get to be a bit of an uphill battle around the 60k mark since at that point you really need to get Int on everything - including Crystal Belt, Opal Rings with WED etc and those are very expensive due to the popularity of HoWA. I tried out Ancestral Protector with Cull just now - it works mechanically and it's probably worthwhile if you're already using AP, but I can't say it's really a good reliable way to Cull stuff given how fragile the Totem is. | |
Just to be sure : would you consider my current amulet better than a 110+ Astramentis ?

" Beats me :-) To decide this on your own... As a fist approximation - figure out how your DPS scales with increased int, and dex. How? Equip pieces of gear differing only in int/dex and figure out the DPS change per that stat. Similarly you can figure out the current value of crit multi/crit percent - and indeed any other stat. ============ Next, multiply the stat differences with the corresponding DPS value and sum up to figure out - approximately - what your total DPS would be gvien any gear choice. The result above is, however, approximate - virtually every stat is subject to diminishing returns, becoming less valuable as you accumulate more and more of the stat. ============= Another approach... Download the Path of Builds app and use it to figure out what your DPS would be given vavrious gear options. I haven't used this app and cannot vouch for it's accuracy - but, if correctly programmed, a DPS simulator/analyzer would be your best bet at picking optimal gear. |

can i get a link of passive tree with unwavering stance and no life nodes TY

" Your current tree seems to be - more or less - on target - to switch to CI, you'll need the CI node and the three nodes behind it - as well as Ghost Reaver, Vaal Pact, and US. You'll likely want a bit more ES though - maybe path to Arcane Focus - and Void Barrier. OP's suggested tree is probably what you should aim for initially. Just curious, if wanted, could we go LL and would the cost/benefit be worth it or will it be worse/same as just CI?
