I cant figure out how to share items, and all the things google said to do, dont work.
The character is "Powa_Howa" on my profile. (Like Power_Hour! hahah... Yeah ok its lame)
Im starting to get into multi-exalt gear upgrades (actually based on searching yesterday, pretty much already there) I know I need to get Vaal Disc and a couple other things (in fact, I am going to get Vaal Disc tonight when I get home. Been getting gibbed a bit and It would help alot). I have about 30k damage buffed in hideout. Capped Resists (160) for the debuffed maps. 8k Es.
I have a couple questions.
1. Is Enlighten really worth it? I had enough mana prior to basically spam ST without enlighten. Would empower to boost the gem levels be better?
2. What gear should I save/upgrade next. I think my helm boots could/should be next. I currently have about 6ex worth of Chaos to spend.
3. Or should I spend a portion of chaos buying Gem Prisms to upgrade gems, and which ones are the best. I have a few at 20% already, working on Light Pen now.
4. Would it be better if I just ponied up currency to buy a neck/gloves? Is it that huge of a difference over the two uniques I bought a few weeks ago (they helped get to red maps alot faster)
Also note, I am not a power player, pro, or anything of the sort. I basically just started playing this league. So crafting is a bit exhausting to me at the moment.

I will personally say it is expensive but empower 4 with enlighten 4 on a 21 disc and wrath will increase your damage a good amount and your ES while helping with the reserved. I don't have enlighten 4 only 3 but use skyforth which has he 6% reduced reserved and the buffed disc alone gives me a bunch more ES. I'm still about 150int short of 1000 and have over 10k es running it.

1) Enlighten is worth it IMO up to level 3 (wouldn't spend the currency on level 4.) Mana isn't really an issue as long as you're hitting things once you get Soul Raker, but the reality is that you do miss sometimes and it's dangerous if you namelock an enemy and go OOM because your toon will unexpectedly start running towards them to auto-attack. Empower is nice if you can make it work mana-wise, but it has a 125% mana multiplier - unless you put a lvl4 Enlighten in a +1 to all gems gear to get level 5 you're going to be really short on Mana if you link it to both Discipline and Wrath.
2/4) I would save for 6L Regalia before trying to upgrade anything else. The rest of your gear is going to be pretty hard to replace on a budget given the resists you need to make it work. You can buy a 750 ES 6L Regalia for prob 8ish exalts. After that, yeah I would try and tackle the boots as you stand to gain a lot of ES there. Also, use some Blessed Orbs on your jewelry to get the implicit modifiers closer to max, they are pretty cheap.
As a tip - you may want to consider switching to Discipline/Herald of Thunder/Purity of Lightning when you start shopping for upgrades. Getting 40% Lightning Res from the aura frees up needing to get that res on 1-2 other pieces which will dramatically free up you choices within a given budget range. I did this until I bought my current chest piece but that was a 20 exalt investment.
3) I would spend enough GCP to do the 20Q vendor recipe with your level 20 gems and re-level them - unless you're in a major hurry, it's more fun and saves a ton of cash. Don't do all your gems at once tho since it'll gimp your DPS like crazy if you do. Only one I'd quality with GCP is the Lightning Pen. Since your'e new - vendoring a level 20 gem with 1 GCP will give you a level 1, 20% quality gem.
5) Crafting can be fun, but it's usually not a good idea to try to craft gear for yourself unless you have a ton of currency to blow and/or the upgrades you want simply aren't on sale. A lot of the gear you end up crafting is useful and valuable to SOMEONE, but that isn't necessarily you, so it's better to just sell the stuff that is good but not right for you. For example I have a pair of boots for sale that have T1 Int T1 ES% and T1 Lightning Res, but I absolutely need dual res on my boots to make my setup work so I can't really use it.
Edit: Another side note - I wouldn't bother trying Ele Weakness cap your resists at this point. It's worth it probably when if you were pushing for level 100, but I can run Ele Weakness maps just fine by keeping Wise Oak up most of the time, even Guardians. You will die eventually when you off-screen a reflect mob and the flask goes down at the wrong time, but that happens rarely enough that I don't think it's worth the difficulty of having to get additional resists when you don't aren't going for near perfect gear - in most circumstances the additional ES will help your survivability much more.

Did not know about the vendor recipe. That will be alot cheaper haha. It doesn't take very long to get them back to 17+ on level 13+ maps. Will definitely be doing this and using my 19 BO's when I get home. Thanks!

I will be transitioning to non-crit tonight for some research purposes. I'm also dropping discipline in favor of an empower/HoT/Wrath/Enlighten setup. 9k ES is plenty, if I die it's because I screwed up, not because I needed 1k more ES (I think anyways).
More damage = more leech.
Also considering throwing in an ancestral protector for attack speed. Waiting for frenzies to ramp up for shaper/guardians can be a pain.
I will document all DPS and post it here. On paper crit should win, but with the lack of diamond flask, crit nodes, and more int/EO on the tree... Well it's just something I need to try and document!
Also - OoS/Elemental Weakness/Curse on Hit/PCoC seem to be GREAT for the crit setup, instantly fills power charges. I will drop PCoC and switch to a lightning golem for my transition.
