I was playing a bit with Path of Building, and it's insane the DPS rings can add to the build. One of them added 5k dps to my build...

In general jewellery is completly insane for elemental attack builds, if you manage to get opal rings with t1 wed t1 flat light and good life/resists your dps will go up a fuckton. Its often more important to update a ring/amulet than the weapon even. Also thank you a lot for helping out so many people here!

Thinking about getting +1 Frenzy Windscream's and then getting CoH gloves. Any downside to this?

You loose some life and resists, the proj dmg on gripped gloves and will most likely have to sacrifice damage on rings to get to capped resists still. I'm not sure if its worth it to get ele weak gloves if you cant get a corrupted +1 amulet, the tradeoff might just be to big. It will definitely improve your mapping but im not sure if the ele weak will add enaugh dmg vs bosses with the reduced curse effect to justify the investment. But yeah try it and see :)

Could someone give a proper priority for jewels on this build?

Pretty much what niuage saied, i search for life and then make a seperate filter group with all mods that work for us (speed, crit multi, proj dmg, lightning dmg, etc etc, if you look a bit you will find a long list that works for us) and try looking for 2 or 3 of these together with the life. In general the highest dps boost will be 15+ crit multi rolls, high attack speed values (8%) are also pretty insane. Crit chance is pretty mediocre (i would only count it as like 0.5 mods) and damage (proj, light, etc) is good but not as good as crit. Best case would be like 8 ias 7% life and 2* high crit multi, but thats impossible to ever get. Just get any good 3-4 mod jewels and try to get some crit multi if possible.

Been playing this build this league and I've been enjoying it so far. Picked up a uber lab enchant devoto's for a couple ex.

Even though I'd prefer starkonja's, uber lab runners only focus on things like hubris, rat's nests and devotos, you're not gonna get a uber enchant starkonja's unless you do it yourself. (good luck with that)

Netmos should emphasize the downsides of this build in the guide, seeing as there are players who are frustrated with this build. Imo in the current state of the game, Melee ele and Attack ele builds should not be pushed as viable for players new to PoE, especially in a new league. Maybe in the future GGG will update the tree so that these builds can scale more conveniently, if not as well as typical phys or spell builds.

Some cons off the top of my head:

Cons
- Very gear based build, won't really take off until you've got some decent gear, a very decent weapon, high level gems, and some quality on those gems. In a new league some of this gear will be expensive until the middle of the league and you'll want a 6L to progress into red maps.
- It is a attack-ele damage build, which is difficult to scale on the tree compared to other phys or spell damage builds
- Gear requires a lot of specific prefixes/suffixes which make leveling and gearing up a more difficult process
- Not newbie friendly, imo players new to the game should focus on more traditional phys or spell damage builds.
- Spectral Throw was nerfed in the past (thanks to the godlike lowlife version back in the day), making it annoying to level with (unless you get lucky with great low level gear) - using Lightning Arrow (even as far into the 70's) might be easier for many players before switching over
- Spectral throw is one of those skills which is very annoying to use when your character or your target is near geometry (like Doorsways/Trees/Narrow Corridors etc). The projectile will bounce off the geometry and not hit the enemy. This can be very frustrating in some maps or areas of the game

For experienced players though the build is fine, though you could say that about any build really.

I maybe should -- its a bit hard if you have a build you are very happy with and make a guide for it you dont really want to cry about issues in that guide. I also didnt feel many of your complaints myself -- I started the leguage with it, it felt very surprisingly strong for me on day 2 of the leguage with gear i bought for 5 chaos total. I was doing red maps with a 5l without ANY issues, i only got a 6l before doing t16 maps. I do not fully agree that it needs that much gear, it has a super high gear ceiling but since a ton of our dmg comes from gems (wrath/added light) we can do good damage without a crazy weapon allready. This is a big difference to some phys attack builds that absolutely need a good weapon to work.

I mention leveling with lightning arrow and i think i recommend switching relatively late

I never felt st being annoying to use and it is pretty strong right now so i dont know why i would mention a nerf that has been years ago.

Still thank you for the feedback, when i find some time i will try to make the guide a bit more newbe friendly.

Listing the cons of a build is not crying about issues, it's about being honest and keeping players expectations in check. (especially new players which PoE have picked up a ton of recently). Look at any other build guide in any of the class forums, they have both a 'pros' and a 'cons' section.

I personally had no complaints or problems with this build because as a long term player I know the downfalls of playing a melee-ele damage build, but judging by some of the posts prior in the thread it seems there are many players who do not.
currently running this build in hardcore and I plan on running mostly maps, definately not bosses anytime soon. What's my best bet to replace orb of storms? Immortal call? cwdt warlord's mark?

Thanks :)

How exactly do you guys manage Wrath? The 62.5% mana reserverd due to ES are killing me. Been thinking about picking up Revelry. Thoughts?
Pretty cool guy, doesn't afraid of anything. Bring your own weapons, safety not guaranteed.
which vessel of vinktar is the best choice -10% penetration or 20% Phisycal to lightning
and what do you think about the wise oak flask +35% elemental res more , and also penetrates 20% lightning res if your lightening resistence is higher then other resistence
Seem to be pretty hard getting 3 blue sockets on the main hand. How did you guys fix that?
Mastercraft at least two blue sockets, or three even if you have it unlocked.
