3.0 UPDATED] Raider Elemental Crit Spectral Throw - Shaper and t16 viable

Could someone give a proper priority for jewels on this build?

Nice build. Hit 90lvl on LHC with 5l Belly w/o any problems.

Level 90 in HC with this build is impressive to me ^^. I love the build but I died a bunch :D I die way less now that I'm well geared up.


@Totmau5: the perfect jewel definitely has life on it. Then it's attack speed (favor the mods that are specific to melee weapon and stuff like that, as they roll higher), crit multi, and a damage roll. That would be the perfect jewel imo. I can't really tell you what to favor between crit multi and attack speed... I guess it depends on your crit, not sure. Look at netmos character, and checkout his jewels, that should give you an idea. I also have some ok ones.

@phx: your weapon seems pretty decent to me for your level, I also like your gloves with int attack speed and life, although it lacks resists, but it's hard to have everything ^^. Are you using this shield because you can't cap resists otherwise? The unique shield is imo going to give you a huge effective dps boost... It's especially good when being crit based, because for a crit to happen, the accuracy roll has to succeed twice. Personally I'd focus on getting res capped and getting the shield. Try to update your right ring too. It's a poor mix of low damage, no life and resists are not great. Shouldn't be too hard to upgrade.

@jylim8808: do you know how this would interact with assassin's mark? Wouldnt it fuck up our power charge generation? Unless you'd want to use orb of storm all the time then?

What are the priorities in gems, if you have fewer sockets and/or while leveling?

Thank you for the answer. I tried transitioning from LA to ST, abit before recommended (just before cruel), and having abit of troubles. Is there anything in specific thats needed for this to get going?

Since it's not the beginning of the league anymore you should have an easier time to buy some leveling uniques and jewelery.

One way to do it is to get fidelitas spikes x2: http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Fidelitas%27_Spike

Then you get 3 jewelry pieces with -8 to mana cost, and get wrath + 2 heralds, making you ST free and allowing you to reserve all your mana (check before tho). You can also get a static electricty jewel early on, and put in the slot above the ranger start I think.

Thinking about getting +1 Frenzy Windscream's and then getting CoH gloves. Any downside to this?

That's probably great DPS wise, the only downside I guess is -80 life and poor resists. Might be worth it :)

You're thinking of crafting it yourself?

I was playing a bit with Path of Building, and it's insane the DPS rings can add to the build. One of them added 5k dps to my build...
