A matter of preference I suppose. Turn speed is unimportant as icestorm always casts at mouse position - and while crit chance is not that good, it is better than nothing. I'm not so sure about casting a golem to just proc mastermind, too. I mean with orb of storms you have 100% uptime on it on the hard content.

Replace your ele weakness in your chest with an enfeeble - it will probably end up better surviveability wise despite the 2k loss. So yea totally worth it, but do run the curses I mentioned (temp chains/enfeeble/warlords mark)

If you really want to run a dps curse, replace temporal chains instead :)

1) well i run enfeeble only on t16s or very very nasty mods t15s.. right now i am thinkin a respec to more intelligence tree (aprox. + 115 int) and then i ll try black sun to see how it goes..

2)another thing is that i find much better to run the 3rd curse with windscream reinforced greaves compared to doedre's damning ring it has more valuable elemental resistances and 10% elem. dmg, i dont care about mov.speed cause i leap slam around either way.

3) i found very usefull a combo cwdt lvl20+molten shell lvl20+firestorm lvl20+(golem or life leech or immortal call).. the extra life leech from this combo is life saver to lag spikes i have, with this combo and warlord mark curse i can AFK dried lake even Voll.. tried some t15s with it and makes a difference, also now i just facetanked chimera without leech support in my weapon and without enfeeble, the extra leech from this combo totally worth it.

1. frankly in softcore i often run bladefall for curse spread+fire pen support+flammability curse+elem weakness.. With 11.5k es i often can afford not to run defensive auras at all, the dps with this setup is amazing.

2. i managed to fix my resists barely so i switched to your tree, 20 regrets cost, it was better than mine..

a)the good: +100es :P (11.3k), +136 int--> + 800 dps increase in icestorm (8800 tooltip, no lvl20 gems yet)

b)the average: with black sun crest i go to 9.5k es (-1.8k), that makes obligatory to run enfeeble and the increase in dps (9600 fromm 8800) dont justify the loss of a dps curse imho.


In conclusion for black sun crest..

only if i get rly rich/lucky and have an astramantis +1 curse so i can use es boots and probably a +900 es armour i will wear black sun, at least for now.
