ok im stupid sorry jus dont level it. last question ... in the whispers of doom nodes why did you choose cast faster curses because its linked to blasphemy. just to get to the main node quicker?

Your blasphemy is linked with faster casting support (120% mana multiplier), only flame dash needs faster casting linked to it.
If you "break" that link, you will be able to use all your auras.

Also you can right click it, then it will disappear from the top right corner. (You can still level it later if you open your inventory, it is at the bottom.)
We chose the faster curse casting to save 1 point since it is a shorter route, no other reason.

It most likely is to high level, CWDT only casts spells under or equal to a certain level specified on the tooltip, so just make sure it stays under or equal to it :)

Orb of Storms does not work with CWDT, under any circumstances. The spell itself says so in the description.

You either use:
Cast when Dmg Taken (level 1) + Ball Lightning (level 4) + Curse on Hit + 2 curses (+enhance)
or
Orb of Storms + Empower + Curse on Hit + 2 curses (+enhance)
and manually keep it up.

I personally use cwdt setup for everything except uber atziri/lab/shaper/guardians. Those I swap to Orb of Storms and keep it up manually.

edit2:

you can also swap out cwdt with warlord's mark on shaper/uber atziri (alongside swapping to orb of storms) - you will save the blasphemy mana and can use purity of ice/fire that way.

Hi, would work but not worth it, reason is that the only spot you can do this is at marauder (taking diamond skin+resist nodes there) - its a nice spot and those nodes are nice if it saves you gear/allows you more INT - but that jewel slot is taken by a brute force solution that is giving you like 80 INT, so it's a really big loss.

On top of that, you are mainly using warlords mark for the life/mana leech - allows no regen maps and doubles the builds leech. It is fairly dangerous running without it - I have played around with this myself.
if you could get past the leech you could run that jewel in the slot to the left of the witch starting area for 15% chance to gain endurance charge. halving your life leech is a pretty big deal though
new plan for a lvl 90 build, still running 2 curses on blasphemy. reworked some things to pick up unwavering. cost me about 1000 es after its all said and done, but i can easily make that up by getting some better gear. DPS remains about the same. picking up diamond skin will also let me run doedre's damning, so i can put the cwdt curse on hit setup back in. probably going to run temp chains and enfeeble on blasphemy and WM on cwdt coh.

Yeah not really worth it.

You could consider (if you can get the enchant, and play unwavering stance) grabbing .6% leech boot enchant and +30% WM effectiveness head enchant for another .6%. That will give you 3.2% leech without LL gem socketed - which allows for another dps gem (you could add back controlled destruction or run increased duration)

But I have not tested this myself. 3.2% leech should be enough though considering the added sockets dps gain.

And wouldn't be as good as perfect setup for temp chains. 21/20 temp chains+30% head enchant+enhance lvl 4+curse on hit 20/23+empower 4+orb of storms. That should cap at 75% slow effect, maybe even overkill!

After playing my Fakener till 90 i swap to this more tanky build.

I am leveling right now but have 1 Question right away:

Why do you guys use Fire Penetration gem?

i mean as far was i know fire penetration does not lower enemy resists it just penetrate if they have resist. if they are already at 0 it will not add anything beside the 10% increased fire dmg?

i mean we have another penetrate from ascendend, we have Flameability curse, isnt that a overkill?

Yes and yes - reduces to 0, if they have any.

However most t15+ content has enough fire res to not lose to much benefit from fire pen+flammability.

I don't use flammability anymore, so for me personally, it's a must have.
