" Hmm, I did uber at level 75, as shown in the video, with way less ES than you. Are you using the correct flasks for his encounter and what curse are you using on your cwdt? If he 1-2 shots you, I would recommend enfeeble, pick up a granite, evasion and basalt flask for damage reduction. Since we are not running unwavering stance, the accuracy reduction from enfeeble also helps us avoid a lot of damage sometimes. |

" I didn't use jade flask, but armor flasks are always here. i use flammability and warlords mark. gonna try again see what happens and if it's the same all over gonna go enfeeble. it's kind of weird that I feel squishy at some moments and this character's defenses are over the top.. my last ES character had less defenses and was tankier. maybe it's the playstyle, I'm not used to sit and wait and channel, so i don't know when to stop channeling and move.. I mean now it's 9000 es 4 endurance charges 2 armor flasks and overcapped resists and just a little stun and i'm out in a second. Hey Mathoddie! Just want to thank you for this awesome build. I played WI last league (followed Kelvynn's guide) and didn't bother continuing with it as I felt it was too clunky for my liking. Using scorching ray to cast icestorm, however, has made gameplay feel sooooooooooo much smoother, it's actually crazy. I'm not sure if dps is lower than that of self cast, but I'm going ahead with CWC anyway as gameplay is just way smoother (I really didn't like being rooted to the spot while casting icestorm).
My computer's pretty shit, so I went down to unwavering stance to avoid stupid deaths. I also took mastermind of discord instead of shaper of desolation. Currently sitting at about 8.7k ES and 4k icestorm dps without golems and pendulum buff. Here's my gear.

For those of you (and there's plenty) who don't use astramentis and black sun helmet...how do you deal with the loss of str when using warlords mark? Because higher levels give bigger aoe...does this not matter so much?

" Str can be a bitch without astramentis and black sun helmet, it is possible to cap it tho'. My rare neck gives currently 52 str, you can also get str on your rare rings (mine currently has 10, but could easily get more), with that and a 30 str note from the tree I have 136 str. Which gives a level 15 warlords mark (which is more than enough in my opinion). All other red gems we use can easily hit level 20/21 with that amount of str also (114 for a level 21 fire pen) |

May i ask, are you using a selfmade version of mine with UW or my beta tree of unwavering stance + mastermind? Because I would love some feedback on that tree, since I havn't tested it myself. Thx for help, I suppose last few questions I have is have you found UW more helpful or are you fine with just practical application?

" I have not played with UW yet, since I am doing fine with practical application, that's why the tree is still in beta for UW. I will test it after I have cleared the game with my current setup (maybe I will play the next one on HC with UW) Catalyse is a 20 int note after convertion, even tho we don't have use of the weapon ele damage, it is definitly useful. I do have vaal pact with a dex -> int gem in my setup. (you can see the jewel under the jewel section and mandatory uniques) |

I've made few changes in my gear and now it feels better but I'm not sure which part of gear should be upgraded now. I guess that belt (for auxium or one with high es/ress from Wise essence) or chest for something with 600+es or sun crest for more Int? I do not have a lot of currency and of course with my current gear I can easily do T6-T7 and get more but I just feel like I need to buy something :P. 5,7k ES for uber is not safe... " Hey Zaboleqqq First of all, your ES on your items are pretty low (boots and gloves are both below 100 ES), I would recommend finding something with more es on it, since every point we get in es scales a lot on all of our % increases. What level are you currently and what amount of currency do you have? If you can get a crystal belt, you can easily craft something with spite essences, I think screaming essence of spite is currently 1 c each. You can compare to my current gear if you want:
