Improvements to Master Missions

This revives my interest in playing challenge leagues. The #1 reason why I was losing interest in them was that I was getting so tired of re-leveling Masters every few months. Making this a less painful process will help.

Can't really fault any of the changes (resisting the temptation to say they could have come much sooner), and all in all one of the best things about the next patch, backtracking really was odious in missions that are often a bit boring by nature.
As for Zana I really can't see the harm in reducing the xp a bit, level 8 zana does not have a big impact and it's a shame you need such a huge grind to get her. Anyway, the rest is excellent and worth the hype, best QoL in ages :)

Please increase Leo reputation rewards from PvP and/ or give reputation for killing people in Sarn Arena.

But VERY happy to read these changes and the many other ones.

It's the small things like this (easier missions, possibly level 8 xp inc) that change the undertone of various elements in the game which consequently have an inexplicable impact on player experience; especially the "replay enthusiasm" factor that can either be detrimental or positive toward the overall experience.

In addition, we're investigating making non-Zana masters easier to level up to level 8 in December's 2.5.0 update (alongside the new league).

This is a good start, but yes, you need to make ALL masters take about 1000% less XP to hit level 8 with. I refuse to level up masters to 8 or join the global channel for it. There is nothing more soul crushing. Masters are easily, far and away, the most tedious and awful thing about PoE right now. I can't believe it's taken this long to get addressed - but at least you're doing something about it. Zana is awful to hit 8 with too, and your original post doesn't acknowledge this, so I'd like to add that just because she's the only master with missions worth doing doesn't mean doing her missions 1,000 times to hit level 8 is fun.
(2-3-2019) Buff underused skills (3.23?!)+ selfcast, stop nerfing defense, build in threshold jewels (3.23?!), implement D3-style looting, add death log + MTX preview, actually rework flasks, stop balancing around the .01%, unnerf Harvest, ADD NEW WAYS TO LEVEL, finally implement Loot 2.0
Given you guys to really hear us, please bring a premium stash tab for divination cards.
