Testing BV - Discharge - PCoC now. (I can't test Firestorm - Discharge - PCoC until I buy a chest with the right colours, not willing to chrome mine right now.)

Yeah! I run Warlord's + Blasphemy for muh leech, which admittedly sucks on bosses, but I get by (by optimising for damage, very glass cannon mindset.)

That earlier vid was with Increased AoE on my Cospri's instead of Conc effect!

So analysis just from a tiny sample size of one: PCoC maybe comes out a little but the RNG of the Fireballs could swing it. Still - given that some bosses are mobile and you have to chase / juke skills, maybe you have more control over a PCoC-empowered.

Madd, do you have deets on CoC cast sequence? I know the spells cast in an order but does it mean I have to score 3 crits to set Discharge off if it's last in my lineup? (Firestorm -> Blade Vortex -> Discharge)

That could further tweak DPS by changing the position of Discharge.

Testing without Firestorm next but this somehow seems faster than my normal Minotaur farming, could just be me comparing a yellow map with mods to a white one.

It is indeed determined by the order of socketed gems. And yes it can only trigger one spell per event.

^This last one was for fun. After dropping Firestorm and seeing that PCoC was actually forgoable, I wondered if getting more Stacks of BV would even out the loss in charge generation. Turns out, yes. I'm thinking about Atziri's Promise already.

Ah damn. I'm not sure if it's a good or bad idea to squeeze one more spell into the 6L then?? Or should I have put Discharge first ahead of BV since I was clearly at cap? God damnit. There's literally a BiS set-up within the chestpiece itself.

If I remove my additional accuracy from the 6L cyclone setup and exchange it for BV, I am left with 84% hit chance. Is this enough? thanks

Definitely not. You're nerfing not just your hit chance but double-nerfing your crit chance. As a matter of fact, 90% doesn't even feel like enough.

Final test - went full Ham and tried to be a Hybrid BV poisoner with Toxic Delivery. Suffice to say, it sucked hard but I just had to try ;)

That's it, I'm out of tests. I've done everything from Skyforth's LL to Toxic Delivery. Sitting with BV PCoC Discharge for now. It's interesting that BV - Incr Duration - Discharge came so close, so those who have a chest they don't want to recolour can consider this.

Off to rest! Work day in 8 hours, eh.

So in the end, coc + BV is still better than coc + firestorm?

What i mean was, is swapping BV for firestorm better than BV? pcoc applies to both. I'm not using the secondary coc discharge, so I can do that.

Edit: primaeva, if youre not willing to test both, just swap out some gems so that youll have an effective 4-5 link and make sure both tests are equal.

Does it really have to be elreon atm? Using reduced mana on one of the links for cyclone and never dropped out of mana, unless you go non-stop cycloning like 30 seconds.

Are you struggling with anything in particular? Nothing NEEDS replacing but it could help boost you in whatever it is you're lacking (boss killing, clear speed, damage)
