"Best prophecy ever, 25c is always gonna be less than the combined cost of 6s+5l in jews+fuses. But, its also the sole reason I ended up doing Shaper without Blood Rage :D You simply don't have enough sockets with the Wither setup and stuff. |

" Unset Ring I'm just joking :D Nowadays it feels like there are either way too less sockets in gear or too less buttons to bind spells on. All these Vaal Graces, Vaal Lightning Traps, Bloodrages, CwDT's and Totems almost every build profits of. " Think im around 600 Fuse atm and still no six link for my QoTF :( |

If you have 5l death opus, and 5l chest, and the "normal" version of the uniques for the build and a "basic" on rare stuff.
What would be the biggest upgrade and first priority to buy next of the expensive stuff? I can only afford one at time. Reach? Drillneck +1? Devoto with barrage enchantment? snakebite with curse enchantment? a 6l chest? --- TEMPUS FUGIT ---

small question , what as first should i get -drillneck +1 arrow or 6l armour (barrage) ? ? ?

What if:
Opus is 80-90% as good as Reach -> 4,5 ex for 10-20% upgrade Drillneck +1 is 100% upgrade for 5ex Devoto +2 barrage and snakebite curse seems to be a small upgrade. OP do not use them in his progression thread and kills shaper without them. maybe is Drillneck +1 the best upgrade from the expensive stuff you can get. Maybe the OP or some other People with god gear experience can say something about it. :)) --- TEMPUS FUGIT ---

I'd buy a Drillneck +1 if I'm using an Opus. Better still, I'd try to corrupt one myself.
The way I see it, Drillneck is something which is not going to get replaced in my build. And having an additional arrow improves my build while using Opus. On Single target, it already does huge damage due to the crit multiplier in built. I have 409% without power charges. Thus a Drillneck can help me clear with Opus by shooting 3 arrows now. More Barrage damage as well. And this item will never be replaced, so no buyer's guilt later on either. |

I went with Drillneck -> 6L -> Reach -> Dying Sun -> Enchant -> Vulnerability
I downgraded from GMP to LMP when I got the Opus, and then removed it when I got the Drillneck. "Less" damage hurts us a lot (it negatively double dips the poison), so getting rid of the GMP/LMP is a priority. 6L was reasoned by the need to improve my single target, and Reach being more expensive (I got a 6L chest for 5ex when Reach was 7ex). Reach and Dying Sun were next as I figured my base damage is super good and it's a good time to focus on adding more and more projectiles. Enchant and Vuln were considered last simply due to cost. " Your math is wrong. How could one additional arrow end in an 100% upgrade (that means twice as much dmg)? With Opus your Barrage fires 6 arrows. One additional arrow from drillneck means a 16.7% upgrade. I for my self would buy a Dying Sun which indeed is a 100% upgrade in comparison to the upgrade from +1 drillneck.
