As for Shaper - Yeah, it is also a skill check. If you play bad, you may get screwed even in very strong gear.

It's better to use for fights, where you cant keep Vintar uptime all the time.
It's cheap and grants extra damage as well.

That's my current gear. As you can see I'm missing a flask which is just a flex I use, mostly anti-chill. Question is, What flasks should I be using for big bosses? There's this 3k armor one but there's also the lucky crit one (for more flask charges) and the 20% physical damage reduction one. What should I do? I can't really use the 3k armor one because I become vulnerable to chill which means death, then again I don't really need that for most bosses since they don't freeze you. Then again, I'm stuck between other options, opinions?

Another question. I'm running Discipline/Clarity/Hatred/Enlighten lvl 3. Question is, do I really need Clarity? Using Herald of Ash gives me 2.3k DPS@HO with no flasks, 4k DPS when using flasks and probably quite a lot more when power charges are up. MP leech is probably more than enough when Vinktar's is up, and even when Vinktar's is down I can still spam my movement skills and cast some BV without trouble.

Final question is about gear. Guess I should get an ES belt and better rings?

The jewelry and boots are terrible.

Looking for advice on my BV character failed to shaper wondering what I missing out on.

Maybe I'm missing something (not being sarcastic). It seems those boots are "30%ms+200+es+very niche applications but still not very useful when working" while missing out on some much needed resistances. All his gear has bad resists. There are cheap boots for 170+(last I checked, there was one that can be recrafted to 190+) with 25-30 ms and decent resistances.

I'm still resist capped though. Guess I should get some good jewelry and compensate some resists by getting better boots.

What bonuses should I... MUST have on rings for them to be good aside %ES and Diamond Rings base? Like there literally are no rings with %ES, both crits, phys damage and good resists on poe.trade, I mean literally. Keep in mind I'm playing ESC, not standard.

Steppan Eard can roll 240+ ES and 30% movespeed. Those stats alone ARE worth using already, if you cap your resists with other gear pieces. GL finding rare boots with so high ES and 30% MS (i dont even talk about resist extra) for less that 1 exalted (and high-roll Steppan Eard costs less than 1/2 exa).
Other stats on this unique are just a cherry on the cake.

I dont think Diamond rings are worth it. I'd rather got 30+ res or 25 ES. As for stats - focus on flat ES, resists, str (if needed), crit multiplier, and save prefix slot to roll %ES.
