Don't use Master Herbalist unless/until you get a conversion flask and stop with the Physical to Lightning gem. Poison damage only is applied off of physical and chaos damage, so the lightning portion of your DPS doesn't contribute to it.

While you are using Physical to Lightning Veteran Bowyer is probably your best choice; the elemental penetration is very strong if you are primarily doing elemental damage.

Plan was to change from Alchemist to Herbalist when getting conversion Vinktar's while keeping Nature's Boon instead of Bowyer (I'm going for defense over attack on that area, don't really feel Bowyer would make that much of a difference while the other skill might just save my ass).

Just did the math and yeah Alchemist gives me about 2k DPS while Herbalist would give me a lot less. Moreover, if I switched to the convert flask now and started using poison damage wouldn't really change that much, as in, based on the math I did, poison + extra damage I get from swapping Physical to Lightning with a proper Crit gem is about the same damage I'm getting right now by using the convert gem + Master Alchemist.

Not taking into account the 10% increased damage over time since I'm not sure what it does (does it buff BV itself too?). If it does then Herbalist is the way to go, if it doesn't then Herbalist is indeed better but just slightly.

Should be getting Taste of Hate soon, then gonna aim for the convert Vinktar. Accessories are still lacking though, no %ES on any of them.

Is it possible to run this build without Skyforths and do Guardians + Shaper content?

i have around 20 ex budget to build a new build and can not decide between BV pathfinder or CoC discharge with malice

You dont need Skyforth. They're just luxury item, that trivializes power charge gain and bring few other minor benefits.
You dont need Taste of Hate and Dying Sun. They're also luxury items, that allow you to squeeze a bit more DPS/AoE.
You dont need Vessel of Vinktar with conversion. A cheap 10% pene version is all you need.
You dont even need 6-link in your chest!!!!

Dont let all those DPS elitists misguide you! You can farm all endgame content with 5-10 exa budget gear.

The Guardians you can definitely do on a budget; but Shaper has a very high opportunity cost (in terms of buying or farming the fragments) and also gets exponentially harder the longer the fight lasts - the more areas of the ground are covered with Vortex, the harder it is to dodge and harder it is to get quality DPS time in. Unless you have a lot of experience with the fight playing another build I don't recommend trying to do Shaper on a budget as you'll get a lot further investing the cost of trying into better gear first.

That said 20ex is probably plenty to do all the end game content.

I do the shaper deathless all day, that 28k is with conc or without? If its without conc I have less than you and shaper is ez pz.

That's what I thought then, I just need to learn to play. :)

It was 28K with Conc Eff but I got some 20% gems and now sit at 31.9K before flasks or charges. I'll just keep trying. Also, is it worth it to use 2 vinktar's? I have one conversion and one penetration.

Yeah I think I'm at 46k with conc in hideout so a little more but yeah I find shaper is more about dodging and placing the vortex balls properly.

Is it worth to make some adjustments in passive tree to get Arcane Chemistry?
