Killing mjölner is bafflingly stupid.. OUT of the trigger builds CoC was a lot stronger and it got one crippling nerf - trigger delay - BUT it triggers at 100% chance...

While mjölner got delay AND triggers at 50% chance even then - unlike CoC mjölner can't just choose a different spell over the now nerfed to oblivion dischage AND you cant even compensate some damage with juggernaut's autoferill anymore...

It didnt even have good single target. Typical ggg idiocy - they wnat to nerf one thing and then another thing then a 3rd thing and whatever used all of them is practically erased...LA and spark was a problem last season, but they didnt nerf teh problem which was frost wall, but rather killed all conversion items and they didnt even have legacy versions left - NOW they nerf the wall. Some items went from good to vendor food for no reason but who cares right?

Discharge mjöner wasnt a strong build it was an okay build - its clear speed wasn't comparable to most FOTM builds it is far below bow builds and most casters - its single target is below average - lets hit it 4 times right? That makes sense..


I get the feeling that these builds were a strain on their poorly programmed engine and destroyed them instead of fixing the underlying problems...

Really really sad. I am not against nerfing something that is too op - nerfing something that was only "good" or "acceptable" four times is just disgusting...

Monster life has been increased in tier 4-12 maps.

so, no change for real end game.
and you underestimate the 5% more damage, together with MS buff.
What will it do? It makes you clear faster, put down bosses faster aka safer.

besides, this is a direction. what I want to remind you is they do have plan for changing some fundamentals of melee play, while you bold the following sentence.

As per PoE wiki, armour is capped at 90%. The only way to go above is IC. Even then 90% reduction in your character sheet does not equal to 90% actual reduction.
Nerfing storm call, mjölner, CoMK and stuff. Wth.... Storm call was finaly somewhat good. Mjölner was just fine after the last load of nerfs it got and CoMK was never a problem to begin with-.-

Same goes for the elementalist nerf, for w/e reason Inquis can just stay the way it is?
So every1 will just swing over to that till you nerf it...

I remember that there are about 20% players are in std, so I'm not the "only one person" like you said.

btw, if you're interested, the reasons why I don't like std are:

no new league uniques/mechanics → boring;
economy is always shit regardless in what month you play, and players usually afk/not log in when you pm;
risk of being nerfed suddenly, and become depressed like some of you;
legacy items;
rares that made from eternals which you'll not get anyway,
etc etc..


me either, lets accept the fact that melee is really poor build in this game. luck of option unlike SPELL and BOW there's a lot of unique and mechanics favor to there build, as you can see there's only 1 melee unique that cost 9ex, its only DISFAVOUR. but what I need is our passive tree to change at least there's 15%+ chance to dodge spell/attack in there, so we can deal core and plaza bosses with 2H weapon or any bosses. using henikuras, irre's, atziris step,Conqueror's Longevity + quartz flask. what do you thnk?

Ok I admit mjolner, in particular discharge, got completely shit on. It needed a nerf, but this is too much. I feel they should've increased the chance to trigger to 100% instead of 30% to compensate for it.

But complaining about elementalist or CoC?
CoC was too budget for what it did, particularly the bow variants. The high-end CoC discharge didn't get particularly nerfed, you're just going to have to find a different link for blade vortex. Granted the budget variants will struggle now, in the future GGG can address this balance, it doesn't hurt for CoC phys spells to be bad 1 league, considering how stupidly buffed they got with assassin.
Elementalist was completely retarded broken. In fact, I'd argue it still is completely retarded broken since you now always have it for bosses. 4 out of the 10 seconds you're basically at full power, 3 of them you're super strong and the other 3 you're basically buffless. So 70% of the time you have a really strong bonus. For 2 ascendancy points. Come the fuck on it's still insane.

While I don't necessarily agree BV needed a nerf overall, it did need the max ammount of stacks reduced, as it was too easy to insta gib bosses. We'll just need to see if spell echo is still worth it, other than that the skill should be fine.


And then all the buffs. Fireball 50% more. If you even had the slightest clue what is possible to do with fireball nowadays...

its a infinite loop they do it on purpose, its just too easy to make all build viable and increase monster dmg,hp,skill,mods.. they nerf things for no reason. fcuk this season and this game
