The Labyrinth needs a total re-work.
" And yet racers do reach level 100 within 2 weeks at every league / race that last long enough. They must be gods. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

" Do you argue just to argue? You deny you can die in PoE and have it not be your fault through lag? What is your deal man? This game is hardcore like no other. Those Level 100 characters in 2 weeks in HC are Gods. |
|
" What is even that question srsly ? Many people want to make PoE looks much buggier than what it actually is. If those people can safe themselves from dying and reach level 100 that quickly ( meaning they probably take some less precaution for speed purposes ), then it is possible. They are surely avoiding some things because of some potential bugs or else ( less now that lockstep exist I believe ). Many people also blame the game when they die in HC I bet, where ..... it's not just the game's fault. There are bugs, there will always be, but it's not as bad as you aer trying to make it look like. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

" This is just plain wrong. The simple proof is that there were way more HC players, around 30-40% I believe (don't remember the exact figure and not gonna dig it for you, I got better things to do) back when the game first came out, and during the beta before. That was when there was NO leagues / league rewards whatsoever. The main reason people play HC has always been the same since the days of D2 : it's just to play HC. Not gonna get trapped in one of those useless arguments, but HC is just a completely different game. And it used to be the 'reference' around which PoE was balanced, which is no longer the case, obviously. As for the 'smug' part, it sounds pretty funny coming from a guy who continuously repeats that 'lab-haters just suck, get good or get out'. FYI I, personnally, haven't died on a trap yet, and I still think it's an unfair mechanics. And I know eventually I *will* die on a trap, be it on a lag spike, a misclick, whatever. You can afford these mishaps in SC, you can't in HC. Please. No more labyrinth.

" The game has changed a great deal since though. The endgame was not about chaining mid+ level maps until lvl100 either I believe. The population was different too. Too many things were different, you cannot just compare it without taking in consideration everything that has changed. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

The lab is not going to change. Deal with it, or go elsewhere.

" Please stop bumping all the laby hate threads with the same "shit post" level response. It's more annoying than the laby haters and their dung beetle analogies. Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you.

" That is pretty much the risk of an online game. I haven't ever played one that says "Hey, you are lagging, here get some invulnerability". If you lag, you are at high risk of dying, exspecially considering that most games scale but just upping damage. Of course in D3 that is partially avoided by literally every class now having a way to cheat death, but besides that lag kills you. |
|
" Path of Exile is notorious for lag for whatever reason. I have played alot of games and no other game lags like this one. You either need a T1 line directly into your house, a Earthquake simulator type PC, 4 graphic cards in super SLI, or all 3 of these to run this game properly. It is quite a different beast this game. |
|
" The lab sucks enough just on it's poor implementation decisions, toss in the shitty platform/servers and it makes it so much worse. |
