The Labyrinth needs a total re-work.

There is no distinction.

Youre only calling it work because you want to, the reality of the matter is everything in the game is play to get a reward. The fact that youre trying to say it separate out of personal distaste when it isnt just goes to show how low quality these arguments are actually becoming.

One type of game design makes me feel X.
Another type of game design makes me feel Y.

And forgive me for being Captain Obvious, but whether others share my feelings does not change the above in any way, shape, or form.

That is the distinction. I've distilled it to its barest elements there. If you can't stretch your mind enough to even try to grasp X vs. Y, then it will be impossible for us to have a meaningful discussion on it, so I suggest not wasting your time trying.
There is no distinction rofl.

The same shitty argument can be used for fucking anything.

Game makes me work for gear.
Game makes me work for levels.
Game makes me work for quest rewards.
Game makes me works for gem levels.
Game makes me work for everything.

You cant fucking understand that your argument is bad because it can be applied to literally anything in the game. I dont see you spamming posts complaining about anything else and the fact of the matter is there are FAR more tedious things than labyrinth that exist in the game such as leveling masters.

Instead of saying "people cant comprehend your argument" how about actually coming up with an argument that has the depth of a puddle ?

I think he actually refers at the fun factor more, as work can be fun or tedious and boring, so I do enjoy my work as long as I find it fun and rewarding, but I do resent it if it becomes tedious, boring and unrewarding, especially in contrast to some other option...
PSS: Our almighty TencentGGG overlords are very scrupulous regarding criticizing their abilities to take proper decisions and consider everything "needlessly harsh and condescending"...

Good to know "free speech" doesn't apply in any form or manner on the forums these days...

I think that's what the OP was referring to, yes.

Many people choose to run the lab in order to enjoy the rest of the game. Just like we go to work to get a paycheck.

I think the reason Tin_Foil_Hat and a few other labyrinth fans cannot understand the OP is that they fail to understand the distinction between an intrinsic and an extrinsic reward. I play maps because they are fun. That is an intrinsic reward. I run the labyrinth because I want the pinata at the end. That is an extrinsic reward.

It goes without saying that to deny something's existence will set you up for a failure to understand it. And that is why you fail to understand the OP's feeling of "This part of the game does not respect my time."

You could try and come up with another reason the OP feels that way, but I don't see you doing that. You'd rather shit on another person's perspective completely than actually try to understand it.

Prove me wrong.

Lab is ok as is.

* Ascendancies = small time investment for great power
* Loot (esp. Uber) = best risk/reward ratio in game
* Mob density = one of the best in game

Lab is definitely not a "waste of time", compared to all other activities in game.

Enchantments are the only thing that would need a "total" re-work. Everything else is fine.

Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

Labyrinth salt farm miner.

Oh really ? An hour of time is "tedious, boring, unrewarding" in comparison to Masters which you have to relevel every single league and take literally months to level to 8 solo, even doing rotations it takes up to a month for some of them.

Leveling all the way through 4 Acts three times is also completely tedious and unrewarding because you dont get to the real game for atleast 10 hours.

Fact of the matter labyrinth isnt anywhere near as tedious, boring or unrewarding as many parts of the game yet here you guys are complaining about that over other aspects.

So because there is bigger "shit" we shouldn't clean smaller one ?

You just use time spent to do a hierarchy when the perception of the time you spend would be a better approach. While I agree Masters system is total crap and doing 3 times the same 4 acts shows a lack of content/balance/ideas, I(and some players) find that Labyrinth is a bigger problem for some reasons I won't list here because it has been enough discussed.

Anyway this is a Lab thread so people are not talking about masters and 3 difficulty iterations(which apply to the Lab as well with now a 4th iteration).

Well, you proved something, that's for sure. I doubt it was what you wanted to prove, however.
