Introducing New Base Items

it is kind of retarded. You are killing your own game doing power creep stuff every patch.

Whatever seems like a good time to stop poe and go grimdawn.

Looks kinda "ur GG mirrored stuff gone trash now, craft it anew". I think it's a cheap move.

Also where are all my supporter tags, lel.

How about to rework Vitality gem now?

1.2% from amulet versus 1.65% at 20lvl Vitality with 35% mana reservation is obvious decision...

Of course Vitality is aura, but I don't believe many people use it like that, maybe summoners or party supports.
That's broken, you guys are make the game lot easier.

I hope the new maps gets difficult scaled compared to this.

compared to like 2 years ago the game feels quite easy, tho. I am casual af, I only do my own created builds out of three years poe experience. this league I traded exactly one item. I, too, still think that since ascendancy everything just works, you can make amazingly good builds with mediocre items. really good items will make you insanely strong. these new items provide even more power to that. so naturally I feel the need of some struggling. I don't know, poe is awesome right now. it's just the comparison to the old days, when you were fighting for 15k dps making a build on your own. nowadays it's less than 50k gtfo need moar clear speed ugh.... I wish all these folks who act like that a gorge with dead ends, new maps with loads of backtracking and a bad economy :P

I agree that POE becomes easier, but hey, don't you remember that after 4th act many people were complaining about hard bosses? I think all that is due next year upcoming 5th act which will balance all these things. In fact Atlas itself could hold some balance changes we are talking about here.

By the way in 2013-2015 I too did only my builds trying play without any trading and be self found. I still think it is pretty hard in normal league. Prophecy kinda change it. And of course you must deal with performance issues and internet lags. So I don't think it is step backwards. GGG trying extend POE community. I wish they also don't forget to add more hard end game content and more challenges in mid game like labyrinth.
You've got to stop it with the power creep. Really. If this is the 'new'... what comes next?

Very bad design. You're giving the people on the fence about quitting exactly the motivation to quit. Sure... the people who stay get hyped, but your base gets smaller and smaller.
Now im still waiting for a full arm gauntlet as a gloves base type,

Which would give atleast a useful amount of block, or deflection+reflection combination.

with "def+ref" i mean something like...

when something hits you and you block, deflect it... the reflected damage hits the ones near the attacker!

By this it would not be a simple straight reflection to the attacker itself, but a deflected reflection to the others..

well i know it sounds stupid, i cant use better words with my lack of knowledge..

But for an example... when someone is going to stab you, and u change the way of the attack, so it stabs someone else near itself. got it?

Dunno if its possible, but i think it would be interesting.

For the art as a good start i meant by "full arm gauntlet" something like "Drake's arm from Blade 3 movie"

Also teh numbers we see there on ne wstuff are fixed or is an example from a range? If the later, then we can see higher implicits...or lower ones :P
Hm, the boots I'm not too sure about, unless there are four sets of boots. Three two-tone boots, and a prismatic pair. But what would the base for that be, armour/es?, armour/es/ev? It's also pretty easy to get a good boots enchant, so I'm not sure I'd spring for them anyway.

The belt is a little strong for my taste. It appears to be quadruple the stats of a chain belt. Since the highest ES mod jewelry can have is around 46, it's also almost twice as strong as a tier 1 roll. When I first saw it, I said, is this a joke?

The amulet has an almost irreplaceable implicit. That much regeneration is strong enough to basically throw away vitality in some builds that might require it to run righteous fire. Or at least a few passive points in travel. For non-righteous fire builds it also adds a significant defense mechanic from anywhere on the tree. 1.2% might not sound like a lot, but it is. Only reason to go above 2-3% total is if you are blood magic or using righteous fire. 1.2% is more than enough in most cases to be a significant layer of defense.

The gloves (both of them) look pretty interesting to me. My only concern is that you're trying to force builds even more into stat portions of the tree. For example, I would love to use silk gloves on my character, but it isn't even a hybrid base with armour. One of my defense layers is armour, and I completely ignore it for the implicit of extra damage.
