Why even bother with dangerous unrewarding T12+ when there is Gorge, Plateau and company?

During races streamers got to lvl 93 SSF in 2 days. Yes, it was with Beyond and stuff but you got a picture. They don't add x10 experience. What are you guys even talking about here?...Considering that Atlas will make your life so much easier as you will be able to upgrade your own maps. I don't quite get it.

Yeah that is kinda his fault though. If he would have run just Plateau and Gorge (and honestly for XP you don't even need to roll them, just Alc is enough to usually get enough currency and maps to buy another Gorge or Plateau.

But honestly since most of their XP changes affect chars above 95 I don't really care about it. I'm not even sure if I ever played a char above 90, I think not.

I do dislike the way the did it, because it makes the higher maps unattractive, but thats basically all.

Getting from to 93 needs 2,4 billion xp. Getting from 93 to 100 needs 1,8 billion xp. And thats with getting less and less xp from maps. I would say that getting from 1 to 93 is a lot easier than getting from 93 to 100.
Kinda wonder what the new halfway point is these days. 97?

1) I suspect there is an inherent issue with phys dmg to element types conversion and they fear that increasing physical dmg would allow ranged chars to be even more OP.
2) Secondly I suspect that we don't know what are most tankiest builds possible (while still maintaining DPS in range of 10Ks) and that increasing meele defences even more would lead for those builds to be completely immortal.

1. Why not buff base damage on gems, or add more support gems for melee only, or create new node that affect only phy part of damage, or many many different way to buff melee... why coc and bladefall mines fine and even buffed in last patch but melee you think should not be buffed?

Yeah, definitely some more meele only support gems would be good. To note Bloodlust is not bad at all. I'm now experimenting with Slayer ground slam/heavy strike build with Marohi. What I'm doing is that I ground slam with fortify support gem, it bleeds them by having voidheart ring. Then I come close and use Heavy strike with bloodlust gem. This is basically HUGE DPS boost for bosses and it's very practical.

Moreover I have been experimenting with meele phys on full HP also while lvling the build. I can say it's not absolutely reliable. But with my current state of high and fast leech with Slayer, I'm inclined to believe that it's the correct 6th gem to use.

Therefore following linking:
GS -> Meele phys -> FA -> added fire -> fortify -> meele phys on full HP
Heavy strike -> meele phys -> FA -> added fire -> bloodlust -> meele phys on full HP

Is what is very likely one of very optimal setups. And if you are really on full HP, this is doing massive physical dmg. Maybe current meta with multistrike is just all wrong.


If only Tora's causes bleeding on hit was actually also her craftable option as suffix! That would buff meele a lot.

Yes, thats what i mean.
Rolling + buying maps + etc tax we paid, if total calculated it would be more or less near to that number.
Lucky will use less ofc, unlucky will use that or more.

I can say as very unlucky in PoE its utterly shit and expensive buying maps... and not fun at all.

PoE make trade into absolute and lesser lesser SSF friendly.

Also, i have played all templar classes and i can speak for sure that EVERY build can feel better/stronger as another class. Templar classes has weak node to make it worthy as other class. One exception Inevitable Judgement node, its very good! But one one node... is it worth it?

I don't think that would work out, she would first have to convince Vagan to stop offering the same service, the niche isn't big enough for competition.

just as anecdotal information MangLiWang the 1st to 100 in hc (using shield charge) said that it cost him about 60-80 ex on buying gorges and rolling for 99-100. He may well have had help from his guild for the trading side of things.
