Minority, and a Plea.
The lab is like trying a new recipe and it turning out god-awful but you're in denial and tell yourself that you're a wonderful cook and you force your kids to eat it anyways or that they go hungry. Then you think their slowly suffering through it validates your delusions of being a wonderful cook because they aren't completely starving themselves to death instead.

" Wonderfully explained, thank you. "I'm programmed to say something that is kind and uplifting at this point, but there is apparently an error that is working in my favor."

" I like the explanation also. If 2.4 does not include some kind of fix for Labyrinth then the denial aspect of the analogy will be right on. That's a terrible analogy. Because it's a matter of taste. Not everybody likes the same thing. It might be the best liver and onions dish in the world, but people who don't like liver and onions will say it's terrible. You think the kids not eating the food is proof that the mom is a bd cook. But maybe the kids just don't like dish.

" You forgot one thing: If the mom cooked for her kids, she should have thought about the childrens taste. If she can't do that, she can be the best cook in the world and still fail to satisfy her children. The same happened with the labyrinth. GGG tried something new and put something important behind the lab and now there are many people who dont like the content, especially angry since they are forced to do it. I'm not saying the lab is bad by itself. In a gauntlet based game it would probably be a cool thing that perfectly fits into it. But in it's form I just think it doesn't fit into PoE and it's whole concept. GGG dished us an experimental piece of food and hoped that everyone loves the taste. Now they have to realize that some dont and now they force those who dont to keep eating it until we puke. Last edited by AceNightfire#0980 on Aug 16, 2016, 11:49:08 AM

My mom made me eat peas and I hated them. Made me gag and I'd swallow them whole like pills with my drink so I wouldn't have to taste them. Maybe that's why I am against the complaints about the lab. It works fine and I wasn't brought up thinking if I don't like something, somebody else should change it so that I do like it.

" Actually, it is an extra wonderful analogy. Because it's a matter of taste. Not everybody likes the same thing. It might be the best liver and onions dish in the world, but people who don't like liver and onions will say it's terrible. We just don't like liver and onions. Not everyone likes liver and onions, it's a matter of taste. GGG is making us eat liver and onions because they are in denial thinking we like it but we eat it only because we don't want to starve to death. Or they are making us eat liver and onions because they have not had a chance to go to the store yet and buy anything else. We will have to wait and see which it is. Some people have shit palates, actual fact. Cooking is a science and what tastes good to the large majority of the population might not taste good to a select few because they have a poor palate and thus cannot appreciate the dish presented to them.
