Holy Smokes, that's exactly what i was hoping for. Can't wait to try it out!
Wer nichts weiß, muss alles glauben.
I have an old Core i7 920. It has 4 cores, but hyper-threading for 8 threads. This will certainly help me a lot when the effects start to fly! I don't normally have any issues since I run a GTX 680, but always some slow down when a lot on the screen at once. I was planning on upgrading my gaming rig this year any ways, so this will definitely get me to go with a 4 or 6 core CPU. Perhaps a new Skylake Core i7-6700K?

GGG, will Intel's hyper-threading help here compared to the same CPU with hyper-threading disabled?

Indeed. I'm just as impressed with this, and have the same general thought: 'GGG could have said screw it like most developers/publishers, but instead actually spent time improving their engine'.

Because DX12 is Windows 10 only. Why develop for just one operating system? DX11 will work with a wide range.
