Performance Improvements in 2.3.3
" Who does that? Contact support about not using all cores of your CPU? Really? Well, apparently you, lol. And perhaps the support people were not so well versed in the fact that PoE was single threaded? Did you not see the recent 2.3.0 update in June about the audio engine being replaced and now sound rendering could use a different thread? How could you be surprised by this announcement unless you didn't follow news a month ago? ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒░░░░░░░░░░░░░ cipher_nemo ░░░░░░░░░░░░░▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Last edited by cipher_nemo#6436 on Jul 27, 2016, 3:49:59 PM

This is just awesome, thanks so much.

If this works I will give them more money. I have been holding out until they finally fixed performance.

Why there is not an option in options menu to dissable some of the atmotsferic effects and particles, I think is easy to do that for developers and is improvement that the game need since the creation of the game!!!!)...there are programs right now to that, but they are not official :(

Looking forward for testing this with my setup. I always wondered why this game utilized only 1 core in first place.
After 2.3.0 fps drops and random stuttering, especially in party play, have been such annoyance so I preferred to solo most of my map grinds in prophecy even when guildies were online. My setup could perform better. ;) ASRock Z710 Extreme 7+ Skylake i5-6600K @ 4.5 Ghz (Overclocked) Skylake with Kraken X31 closed liquid cooling system. 16 GB Kingston Savage DDR4 @ 3000Mhz Asus Strix 970 GTX Direct CU II BenQ 27 inch 144hz monitor 128 GB SSD for OS (Win10), 250 GB SSD for games. " I'm reasonably confident the revision of the Z170 chipset (Z270) will be out by the end of 2016. The new CPU's might be pushed in to early 2017 though. The Z270 will support Skylake CPU's as well as the newer Kaby Lake. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaby_Lake https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_chipsets#LGA_1151 Computer specifications: Windows 10 Pro x64 | AMD Ryzen 5800X3D | ASUS Crosshair VIII Hero (WiFi) Motherboard | 16GB 3600MHz RAM | MSI Geforce 1070Ti Gamer | Corsair AX 760watt PSU | Samsung 860 Pro 512GB SSD & WD Black FZEX HDD Last edited by Nicholas_Steel#0509 on Aug 2, 2016, 12:17:02 PM

i'd hate to throw a spanner in the works but maybe this needs to be thoroughly tested
before roll out? I just updated to new patch it works great.. until the client crashed and 10% xp gone on my lvl 90 toon, in a daily low quest.. sucks to the max so any support out there can trace back the logs and give me back this 10%? it took days to level this just fyi. |
