You can argue about numbers all day long, the fact is this thread exists and is maintained by more than one person. 133 pages speaks alot. It's up to GGG if they want to take this feedback seriously or not

I posted a subreddit on this as well. I got lambasted by the fanbois, which was basically 2-3 people trying to post a lot to make it look like a lot more.

My post was generally to ask the devs to take a peek here an check out the lab posts.

The devs at least say they do, but they don't post because they think that it derails threads. Also in the recent Q&A they basically said they're not changing it.

I don't think they said exactly that. I think they said that Lab was going to be in 3.0, however, they recognize the fact that ascension is no longer considered a reward, but rather an intrinsic part of character builds and as such, they will be having further discussion on it.

This is discussed occasionally but there are no plans to change it in 3.0.0. We're worried about the slippery slope of players wanting the rewards from a system without engaging in that system (although we do understand that Ascendancy classes have been so successful that they are no longer considered rewards but instead intrinsic parts of your character). I am sure we will continue to discuss this and related topics.
