My 2c on Lab

I really think people are over estimating the "threat" of the traps etc in lab. Really, have some bubbling/seething life flasks and a movement speed skill and you will be fine. Its not hard, raelly, just do it a couple of times and you will see.

the most important thing to remember is: never stand still.

Just run through it. RUN. Just move, and it will be over in 10minutes. Izaro is easy, even on merci.

I dont get the hate lab receives, I just feel people are instinctively afraid of the traps, but really, just practice a bit, run through it a couple of times. Its not hard. Really.

I did, but I'm baffled by how much people hate on the lab. I just think that you've probably died one or twice and became afraid of running through it.

I for one like it. Its fun and rewarding, and its a nice break from grinding monsters. You can also pay a couple of chaos for a merciless lab boost to get your ascendancy points and never have to worry about it again. Its entirely optional so I find these kind of threads aggravating.

If you find the threads aggravating, stop reading them.

take confort in knowing you're not alone. many ppl hate it including ppl who have been to end game and back. However I'll just say, unless you play HC, one hour to get all 8 is not a biggie on a toon you spent 100s on

That's a big fucking 'unless'.

You know it's a failed league when Havoc loses interest and says he won't level to 100 in it. I don't really know when's the last time this happened but it must've been a long time ago. Not saying it's all the lab's fault, it's just one of many factors.
You have to be realistic about these things.

None (ok maybe thats extreme, but a big chunk for sure) of those liking even in the slightest the arcade gameplay of the labyrinth ever read anything, and even if they say the do they just look at a text and create a new meaning for it. Poor souls they dont know any better.

I feel you mate, ive been trying so hard for 3+ months suggesting ways to either enhance the labyrinth experience or completely decouple the ascendancies from the lab or add new ascencion methods. Simply put i want people to have fun, in a game we play for that exact reason. Labyrinth sucks the fun out of the game, and if you look closer even those that say they like it make the occasional comment of how boring and tedious lab is. Some have values, others dont, some play games in their free time, others only play games, some like ARPGs others like arcade/platform games.

I fully support your decision not to buy a prophecy pack, i too wanted very much this time to buy it, but i did not and will not like you unless they consider taking drastic measures regarding the turd-lab.

Also prepare for the white knights crusade, as soon as they smell anti-lab threads they charge with fanatic passion.

We are some who do not understand why Ascendancy Points have to be hidden behind the lab wall.
People who likes the lab can still run it all they want, and get enchants, and everybody else can still get their Ascendancy Points.

Why do we have up to 24 passive points hidden behind quest walls? Why are most passives hidden behind the leveling wall? Wouldn't it be much more fun to just assign 120 passives and go?

and with this ridiculous post im out

my points were made best of luck everyone, take care
I've yet to hear a solid argument for why spending 20 hours (assuming a non-godly player here) running through four acts on three difficulties is okay, but spending an extra 1-2 hours on running the labyrinth three times is not.
It's still the only place in game where you can get some reliable challenge, instead of RNG hoping some red maps will drop in the next 100 hours of endgame grind...
