Loading is faster, but in game performance are actualy worse?

PoE stutter like hell since ascendancy and i see no improvements with 2.3, what are you doing GGG -.-.

2 Gb RAM + HDD = always disconnect when i tp to town.

Its not worse - its just impossible to play since last patch.

my potato PC cant handle the game anymore :/ Was fun though. Goodbye and have fun!

Starting game > 2-3 seconds and the login screen appears, yey!
Login > sudden freeze, selecting character > another freeze > login > freeze for about 5 minutes and then disconnected....

Never had this issue before.

My CPU is at 100% often when I enter a zone which means I just have to wait until task managers says I can go. This lasts from 3 to 10 seconds and I have i5 2500k.

Having the same issue. i5, 16gb RAM, GTX 970, SSD hard drive (from which the game runs). Before the patch game ran fine, even with a ton of stuff on screen, with full graphic options turned on.

Now the stutter is insane when moving around, or when entering a new zone FPS drops to single digits (i got Fraps running) as its loading the stuff.

Please bring back the option to enable the old load method. I'd rather wait for 5 min on the initial loading screen than have to put up with this BS.

I've been having the unbelievable lagging/FPS issues too. FR drops to 0 and latency spikes to 3+ seconds. It appears that this is related to the new sound architecture since with sound off, gameplay is as good as it was before the patch.

I'm running under Wine in xubuntu.

I'm getting the same stuff. Completely fine before the patch and now my FPS and latency are all over the place. I'm kinda surprised GGG hasn't responded yet.

Having the same issues. Game loads fast, I login, game stutters and freezes for a minute or two, I use a waypoint and I get disconnected after a few minutes of a complete freeze. So instead of having to wait for a big loading screen to play the game, I get to not wait on a loading screen to not play.


I was wondering, did reinstalling helped anyone? Or has anyone figured something out about this?
