Another quick tip to some more advanced socket crafting:
I think it has been mentioned before in this thread, but there is a very nice method to get the RRRG-combination on your ES boots or gloves to free up the helmet with +1 to gems for discipline, VM + Blasphemy etc...
Quick summary:
1)Vorici-Craft 2R on your Gloves/Boots.
2) Reduce to 2 sockets with Voricis bench - it will only keep the 2 red sockets
3) Vorici-Craft 3 sockets, this will keep the 2 red sockets and a a random* 3rd one. If it's red or green go to 4), if not return to 2)
4) Vorici-craft a 4th socket - if it's the missing colour*, you're done, if not, Vorici-craft to 3 sockets and repeat 4)

Instead of blowing through hundreds (or more) of chromes to possibly no success, this method gives a way more deterministic result using jeweler orbs. And at the current prices it's also way cheaper on average.

Here's the original reddit post with more explanation: https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/62dq39/alternative_way_of_getting_fully_offcolored_items/

*The chances to hit a blue socket are like 80-90%, but eventually you will get the green/red socket you want...

Thanks for this! I think it should be added on the main page. What lvl need Vorici to be for this craft?

How come I follow the guide on rrrg with flame/ice/CoDT/immortal call and I cannot summon golems, only cast immortal call when damage is taken?
Well, first of all the sockets need to be linked.
Furthermore you need to make sure that your cwdt gem has a lvl requierment equal or higher than the golems. That's the other potential problem I could think of...

Vorici needs to be lvl 4 to craft 4 sockets, if the wiki is right. So that's fairly easy to achieve...

According The Guide we come to Wispers of Doom through Cast Speed bonus, not the Curse Effect bonus. Why is that? Whether it will be more effective to get Effect bonus there?

Pretty much at the end of the leveling section is a remark, that you can/should switch into the curse effect nodes when you have all other important nodes covered. In my opinion, the increase in curse effect of 3 curses is always worth the additional skillpont, because the curse cast speed is completly useless to us...
Any ideas what i should improve in my gear?
There is any sense to buy gloves/boots/body with much more ES, or or it doesn't cover expenses? (I think it will be about 15-25 ex on legacy)

My current gear:

Hi, im wondering why in the guide we are taking the Catalyse skill nod? Isnt it only apply extra damage to melee attack??? Or we only take it for the int???

The boots could definitely be better, yours are pretty weak. Maybe a better chest, 46 Int and only a crafted res mod is nothing special. But you need to keep your resists maxed, so it can be tricky.

But I don't see a reason to go after the top stuff. The upgrades you can get are not worth that kind of currency when you already can farm everything. Normally, if you got a lot of extra currency you would go after the expensive stuff to keep using the char in Standard after the league is over. But right now we don't even know if the build will survive 3.0. GGG might decide to destroy Vaal Pact like they destroyed all non-instant leech in 2.0, or something. I wouldn't invest too much into any build right now.

Yes, and the leveling guide says exactly that. 20 Int for 1 skill point is the best deal you can find at that level.

Thx for your reply!

Why these boots are pretty weak? Because of low ES or because of only 1 resist and only 46 Int?
They have exact amount of cold resistance what i need for cap =\
I'm not going to play on a Standart actually, so I will try to improve my chest and boots and enjoy the game :)

Yes. I consider T1 Int (51-55) the main stat, it can justify having only 1 res mod, less than 30% ms or modest ES. But if you don't have T1 Int then the rest of the mods should give you more.
Hey nice guide btw, idk if it's been asked before, but why not take the (3 points) Explosive Impact node for 45% inc fire damage? instead of extra sockets (those for izaro's turmoil for example), or why not use it at least for leveling?
Cheers!
