In the guide he uses 2 staffs, one for clearing mobs, and the other for bosses (culling strike).
Why does he have 1 with 2x 3-links and another 5-link staff? Why not 2 5-link staffs? (or even 6l)

Then why not 2 4L+2L staves or 2 3x2-links staves? Imo it sounds better!

Overall the build is solid, but doesn't come close to my golem build in ease of survivability and clear speed. There are way too many map mod combos that will result in you getting one shot even if you have 15k ES. By being forced to stop to cast AND be close enough to leech creates a flaw in the design. With golem and totem builds, you are free to focus entirely on making sure you don't get in range of being one shot.
Hah, I must have missed this post until somebody else replied to it.
WTF are you talking about? What map mod combos? Examples please? The demo video shows some really nasty combos. It sounds like you are talking about getting 1-shot by trash while clearing. You have to use really bad gear to get 1-shot by trash with this build.
I'm traveling so I'm not sure if there is an easy way to link my build from my cell phone but my profile is public, character name is Alina__Li. I passed 1500 int and I believe 7.7k ES. I had to switch out of SR to self cast because of crashing which others even with extreme machines like mine are having an issue with, but that shouldn't matter because you should be doing even more dmg using spell echo and ele focus.
Case in point, I am one shotting trash no problem. But not rares. My golems one shot rares and I spent less on that build and it also has a much higher clear speed. And I still am not leeching enough to counter the damage taken by certain bosses or packs with rares. This forces me to have to cast and run back too often to get any kind of rythem. I get that this is not a clear speed build but there must be something I'm missing as others are missing too because there seems to be a large gap in what people are experiencing even among those with over 1500 int and 7k+ ES.

You don't have potency of will - you should have picked that up several levels ago. Your gloves have no int too.

How is making the spell last longer going to increase dps/leech? Especially on the majority of bosses that move? I understand you get about two more seconds of duration but unless I'm misunderstanding the mechanics, I don't need the storm to last longer, I need it to do more damage while it's storming.
And yes my gloves don't have int, but I'm already at over 1500 int and people have claimed much better results and higher tier map success with less int than me.

Well more duration is literally the same as more dmg.
You have more icestorms on the boss, with more duration.

Icestorm creates chilled ground, so more duration means that with a single storm they'll get trapped longer and receive more damage.

Can someone share your exp/hr of clearing shaped mesa (and lv)? I'd like to get an idea on what other's clear speed is :-)
BTW, OP said two Quicksilver provided +70% speed, but it looks that the effect doesn't stack?

40% from itself and up to 30% with "of Adrenaline".

Plus you can roll "less duration /inc effect" and it gives even more.
