I love both the idea and the execution of the lab mechanics, and would love it if some elements (traps, puzzles, the new thing-pushing gauntlet, having to find keys in side areas to get through doors, ...) would be added into core game, or even to maps. Sparingly, of course, only to spice up certain areas.
What I don't like is that the labyrinth feels too empty - there is a lot of side paths and side areas, which is fine for something that calls itself "labyrinth", but there is nothing there, no reason to explore side paths. I kind of get it, labyrinths aren't supposed to be full of fun stuff, they are basically frustrating mazes where you ideally only want to visit a fraction of the total area. But that doesn't make for fun game play. The more you depend on forces outside yourself, the more you are dominated by them.

" Yes, but you miss one HUGE point: EVERY SINGLE mechanic in PoE is hated by some players. I don't think you can find ONE person that likes everything. Are we going to change everything? Just because loud people think they're a majority? Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

It's just stupid to be chasing away players and money like this, and why? Just because some people like it doesn't mean it's not a failure compared to a much better rollout/implementation. |

I think that GGG developers should engage with hard drugs. Their new map trials is horrible.
GGG Remove the bind ascendancy points from lab, and you will see how popular this area without ascendancy points. |

I really don't think Chris can tell or cares what players think anymore. He's making more money than he ever dreamed and can milk it for another 5 years with little effort.
