Thing is, most players experience the game in Normal and Cruel. Forums and reddit has a lot of people playing at the endgame, but that's not the game experience in general. Chris Wilson said that's the reason they put the labyrinth as it is in Normal and Cruel.

So before you make this more serious than it is stop. I understand you try to rebutal, but if you cant do it with arguments dont turn to personal insults. I think this topic kinda lost the way. We have Perq in here trying really hard to force everyone to love the labyrinth as much as he does. Sadly though that completely bypasses the point the OP is trying to make. It's not about optional or not. This is a real problem and it's making the lifespan alot shorter then necesarry for alot of people.

I guess i am lucky i have alot of friends who boost me whenever i ask them. And i do the same for them. So we can together try and make this really sad addition something we can do as quick as possible. However even in my friends group there are people dropping out of the game much earlier then they normally would, and only because of the lab.

This should not be so hard to fix. Let the lab lovers keep what they want and run their low level area all day long for some never coming Enchant, and remove the points to something more streamlined. The lab is to long, to tedious, to time consuming. And simply no fun.

They don't need to fix the lab. They need to fix how ascendancy classes are rewarded (by removing them from the lab). If you don't like the lab, don't do it. That's fine - it would be fine as is if it didn't give the best rewards in the game. Not because of the time or difficulty of the lab, but because of the style of it. They tried something new and merged something from another game genre. That's fine, that's how things like MOBAs came about. But putting the best reward in the game behind this new feature that doesn't fit the genre? That's ballsy, and in my opinion a bad idea. Add your weird, out of place new game system, but don't tie the best rewards in the game to it. Keep it with enchants only. The only reason to repeat the lab is for enchants anyway. Why punish players who like this genre and just want to play this genre by forcing us to do lab to ascend? The main reason I hate the lab is it goes against the flow of the game. Would you want to play a game of tetris or bejeweled after hitting lvl 10 to unlock a new gun in Call of Duty? Would that make any sense? That's how the Labyrinth feels to me (obviously this is an exaggeration of how different the game type is, but it's enough of a disparity that it feels kind of like this and I hate it thusly). The labyrinth is like playing a level of Gauntlet in the middle of PoE. It makes no sense to me to be there, and I don't want to play Gauntlet, if I did, I'd just go play that. There are puzzle/trap games out there for people who want to play them. I want to play Path of Exile, the Diablo series, Titan's Quest, Grim Dawn, and the other good games in THIS genre. The lab feels like a totally different game, and that is why I hate it. Not because of the effort to do it. Because it doesn't belong and you have to do it for the ascendancy classes.

But I guess this is what this forum is for! Because, as we can see moderators aren't even close to shutting down any of these horse slaughter houses.

I, for one, care about opinion of people who do not like Lab. And I said it several times. I want everyone (or at least as many people as possible) to enjoy the Lab. But at the same time, I'd love to have things I like in the Lab preserved. There are some solid ideas for the good changes, but this stupid agenda pushing of ruining it for people who like it, because some people don't like it is absurd.

I'm under great impression that you cannot see how aggressive and negative you are. You keep on calling people dumb, yet when someone call you out, you act like a hurt child, fighting for its rights.
