" no, 1-5 was 30+7+10+6+6 = 59% 6-10 was 5+8+10+3+14 = 40% Even if for some unknown reason we wanted to include 5 in the "loves lab" category that is still only 46% and the loves lab category should really be restricted to the 10 or 9&10 which is 14% or 17%, which versus hates lab 30% or 37%. In the end it is the non vocal majority that decides if change is needed.
With less than 2k people of the entire player base saying they dislike lab, change is not comming any time soon. If I disliked lab so much and wanted it to change, id voice my opinion on the forum and hope it changes. If I think its fine though id either never go to the forums, or go to the forums and voice my opinion on why it needs to stay the way it is. Just in the steam client there are over 37k players. So realistically the players who dislike lab are extremely niche. Now if we are to assume the amount of players playing at once is similar or better than it was in 2014 (70k players at same time at peak hours according to chris wilson) then we get a perspective of how miniscule lab haters are who have voiced their opinion. Less than 3% of the entire currently active player base. And thats the best case scenario if we said 2000 different people dislike lab. But seriously though labyrinth is really taxing as the place is massive, izaro is mostly overtuned still and the traps doing percentage damage means that you could die really stupidly quite often. " So you assume that everybody playing path of exile immediately doesn't dislike the labyrinth? I'd be shocked if even half liked the labyrinth, to be entirely honest every single casual-somewhat casual player would obviously dislike it based on length alone. Lets look instead at hardcore numbers. Notice how they are constantly going down? Notice how hardcore numbers aren't even close to the majority? Wonder why that is? Clearly the game is either too rippy or leveling takes too long which drives people away from hardcore. These two things are both extremely prevalent in the labyrinth which would imply that a lot of people inherently dislike the place. The lab is very long, izaro is very rippy and every death requires you to redo all the content you have just completed. This just doesn't belong in softcore. There's a reason why most of us in softcore aren't playing hardcore and the lab won't bridge us to it. I'm sick of having any optimism or enthusiasm for playing the game get sucked out dry by the place. It is hard to know if you can beat Uber Lab or not without trying In a hardcore scenario you either beat it or die. Explains the numbers perfectly well. Hardcore is a niche.
