[Poll] It's been a month now, how much do you like the labyrinth/acendancy class/enchantments?

I dont like it, i do it because i want ascendancy. Lab was fun and different experience for the first time, after leveling third char it feels like tedious as fuck chore ALREADY
I like the lab, i like the traps in it and the concept of the area. It feels different then the normal game, and i like it.
The problem is that you run it for repeated times, with minimum variation, that it gets to be too much.

My main problem with ascendancy is the ascendancy classes being character locked. Some are just obviously better than others, and force a player to pick a specific character and class to mix/max his build. This drives me nuts, as this wasn't the case when i played 3-4 years ago.
The only consideration was where you start on the passive tree, and how you want to progress and grow. I miss that so much :(

And enchantments are a grind i can live without, thank you. (and i am as of now, cause after the firs try i stayed with that skill, even though i don't use it).
Ascendancy classes are fantastic. Yes it's power creep, but GGG generally does a good job increasing map levels to compensate. Allows much more freedom when creating a build.

10/10

Enchantments are pretty cool. I'd rather they take out the simple damage boosting options. Yeah 25% increase damage on your main skill is nice, but fairly boring. Skills like "Lightning Arrow hits 2 additional nearby enemies" is a great enchantment. It is a DPS increase, but in a more interesting way. Allows flexibility to remove Chain from your links. Given how many Enchantments there are, it would be nice to trim the fat a bit. The other issue is the fact that they are gated behind the Lab. It's a lot of effort to hunt that perfect helm enchantment.

In theory: 7/10
As is, gated behind the Lab and with too many useless rolls: 4/10

Labyrinth is a mixed bag. It's an interesting idea with the traps. It's cool that it's random each day. It's also a boring slog after you do it a few times. Gaining the Ascendancy Class/Skill Points upon completing the Lab is a good reward. For 1 run in each difficulty, it's fine. Running a few looking for enchantments is okay, but a bit grindy and dependent on RNG. The biggest issue is that once you have your 6 points, the rewards rapidly diminish. Very rarely do the treasure chests give value worth the time to complete the lab. Once you DO get the enchantments you want, there is no reason at all to do the Lab anymore. Maybe that's intended, but it's a lot of work that went into designing a big part of the game that will be forgotten quickly.

If Izaro had a decent chance at some nice drops, or the same with the treasure chests, it might be worth the effort. With the level 75 enchantments in the game code, it could be possible that there would be an "uber" version of the Lab/Izaro. Make that like an end-game Uber Atziri challenge without the cost of entry of Mortal pieces.

As a gate for Ascendancy points: 7/10
As a gate for Enchantments: 3/10
Replayability beyond those two: 0/10

Overall score: 4/10
Enchantments -/-:
Didnt vote as I could not test them myself. (Except for the few that i got with my Accendancy point runs) But they seem to be really awesome, if you get the right one.
Ascendancy classes 8/10:
They are an awesome addition and will likely keep me playing. However, they are gated behind the Lab. Also, some of them seem to need some rework, thats why i only gave 8/10.
Labyrinth 3/10:
The idea and the art design is great. I really like that. But everything else pretty much sucks. The traps are completely pointless. The first times i tried the lab i nearly died, because i waited and wanted to get the interval of each trap. The moment you spam quicksilver and movement skills the traps do not matter at all. I simply run through everything and barely take any damage at all. Its excatly the opposite what the devs intended it to be.
Also, if i spent more and more time in the lab, it increases the chance that i lose all progress, when the gameserver disconnects/crashes/whatever and theres no checkpoint.
And then there's Izaro. I could facetank him with my Armor-Marauder and get oneshot for 4.4k HP with my Evasion-Shadow. Because thats how you do balancing. Its complete bullshit. Mostly i dont even see what oneshot me. I can farm t7/8 maps, but that area lvl 67 boss is obviously harder. It makes no sense at all. Especially if i just want the points.
They want to add some "endgame" with awesome rewards (enchantments)? Add some hard content for lvl 85+ characters. But beeing unable to get the skill points, I am supposed to get while playing the campaign, is just terrible balancing.
Still, i was able to beat Izaro (and probably farm the lab) with my Cyclone Marauder. And my friend was able to kill him with "balanced" Ice Traps. So 3/10.

Strawpoll sucks for voting from 1-10.

For strawpoll you should have 2-3 options for this sort of thing. like/dislike/neutral.

For rating from 1-10 you need a poll which averages the results.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

Avarage:

Lab= 4.945/10
Ascendancy class= 8.51/10
Enchantments= 4.77/10
ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it
I like enchantments but dislike running the lab for them, so 5/10.

I love the ascendancy, I don't mind running the lab once a difficulty for the points, 10/10.

I just don't have any motivation for running the lab after claiming ascendancy, hence an overall score of 5/10.

Pretty much this.
What's really sad is I think they gave up on labyrinth run leaderboards as they realized some people where able to clear it within 4 minutes (including myself) wich is hilarious. Talk about a challenge indeed.
Well, the polls clearly show how divisive is the whole stuff (nothing unexpected there).

I'd be more interested in specific diagnostics of why is this (forced hardcore? poor technical aspects? hate the traps because they are against the speed meta? hate traps because of the damage? hate traps because they are biased against some builds? hate to backtrack? hate the enchantment grind?).
