Why are you using Ecplise?
I got it early this league but i dont see how i can use shield charge or whirling blades with it and is it really better then rare dagger + wb/shieldcharge+ fortify? Screen DPS for me is exactly the same but i am not sure what is going to be safer, fortify+shieldcharge or the effects of crits. Would be nice if you could help me out here ;) |

so on a ci build should I focus on int on gear/mana?

" Depends on if you're playing SC or HC. I switched to CI when I reached roughly 220% ES on tree and had around 1000-1200 flat ES on gear. That + Discipline is roughly 6k ES which is enough to start with as long as play correctly. Don't play it like you'd do with a life based character who has access to flasks. If you can't leech enough or it's getting intense jump out to recharge. Be a little cautious and don't forget to cast BV as well, you need the DPS to leech. " Int gives you ES as well but +ES and %ES are far more important. Focus on the amount of ES a piece has. It's basically your life. It's a bit hard to balance out ES and resistances at the beginning, especially since you need Eye of Chayula or the new Valyrium ring to counter stun. Also, Magnate is quite nice for Pathfinder and makes flask management a little easier. Most important pieces are chest, helmet and shield. If you're going with one of the CI skilltrees posted you don't need as much mana. Some manareg on jewellery is a nice thing to have so you can spam BV for a longer amount of time, but the ones taken in the trees should be enough to get to 20 stacks. " Discipline and Hatred are pretty much mandatory. You can also run a Clarity if you have picked some reduced reserved mana nodes. The trees look pretty much like the ones many people came up with. There aren't any big differences. It's fine. I had a hard time around that level as well. Pathfinder leveling was way more tedious than I expected. Don't worry about it, it will get much better at around 70-75. Grind some xp in A3 until you can do Dried Lake. You'll get currency and will be able to afford upgrades. Stick to hybrid for now but start to focus more on ES (if you see a cheap 500-600 ES chest buy it) If you're playing ESC it'll currently take around 20c to get into CI. Maybe you'll get a good drop, maybe not, but you're getting there. It's not quite clear yet what the best gem links are. I think your setup is fine. Some say AddedFire is better than ContDes, but I can't say for sure. I'm going with: BV + IncAoE + Spell Echo + Added Fire + Crit Strikes + Crit Damage (but you could drop Crit Damage and add ContDes or even another Added-x. I don't know whats mathematically better) Good luck :) |

Is this build is still viable for 20 stacks and very good on sc ? Btw now i don't need faster casting for Blade Vortex with 20 stack change yea? So which gem i need to choose instead of it added fire or chaos damage or maybe increased critical strikes ?
