Would you recommend this build for hardcore? If so, what changes would you make? |

thx for the build. i feel immortal.
trying to push the limits atm. for high end maps, i dont like BoR that much so i changed to helmet + rare chest. i figured that if you use IR (which i highly recomend) then the vertex is BiS for this build... 700 evcasion and 300+ ES AND CHAOS RES. the +1 gems in the helmet lets me use enlighten lvl3 instead of 4, so its "budget". on top if that, i can now use hatred + grace as auras, and the +1 level is great for grace. i am using determination-hatred-grace-enlighten3 in my vertex mask. for really scary situations, i switch out hatred for determination. i am using a hybrid chest aswell for more ES. i got 1300 ES and 5300 life at lvl87 atm which is pretty great. with my gear i am at 17000 armour before flasks with hatred+grace, i will reach 20k armour with max level grace and a few more levels where i take armor/eva nodes. with determination it goes up to 35k. dual vaals at atziri cant kill me, i dont even use flasks. same for trio. I successfully fully facetanked village ruin bosses ( i got capped chaos res gear. capping chaos res or getting alot feels kinda mandatory btw) and most fun was facetanking double boss increased monster damage crematorium... all my party members died, and i just stood there and ate all the firestorms. lol!! my gear: its pretty GG already, except that coral ring which currently i just use to get leech somewhere, will replace that soon. i could use %armour crafts on jewelry though for even more armour. i think this can do core malachai pretty comfortably. i am low on fusings so i stopped at a 5L, but the 6th link wont give that much damage. note that i did NOT take the attack speed nodes before deadly dilettante because it doesnt make sense. with earthquake you need an attackspeed equal or lower than your earthquake delay. with 30% enchant, a 20/20 less duration gem, you should not have more than 0.459 attack time. with varunastra, that is you shouldnt have more than 67% increased attack speed in total. my tree will give me 63 attackspeed just to be sure. final tree (still debating):

How much ES do you need to have as minimum to make the most use of the Aurora shield?

" hi, I ran both your build and the one in the OP on http://poedb.tw/us/skilltree.php and it shows your build, while having more block and defenses from tree (about +10% increased hp, about 8% chance to block, some shield defenses, some armour), you get a lot less dps than the OP's tree (about -100% increased physical damage). I agree with you on the attack speed, but some other changes you made make less sense. here's the comparison http://goo.gl/HtKaOk I took the liberty to invest some more points into life around scion tree, so both builds would have the same amount of passive points invested. |

" hey be careful when comparing trees... the BoR tree has ofc less block, because it gets 6% block from the helmet. a 6L variant needs more block, but can use a damaging 6th link (for BoR the 6th link is faster attacks which does nothing for this build). OP's tree is a lvl100 one, my current one is lvl 87. so both builds can get roughly the same dps. also this build stacks ALOT of increased damage. going from 700->800 total % increased damage is not that significant anymore, only about 12% more damage in total. the goal for my tree was to reach maximum tankyness, going to 20k+ armour before flasks. maximizing damage is not that immportant for this build as damage is limited. it is meant for very hard content/being immortal/surviving even the toughest situations. " Hey thanks for sharing :D For attack speed, I get your point of getting more attack speed might give less dps overall since you mess up with the aftershock delay. The reason why I grabbed those attack speed in the beginning was: 1) Huge boost in whirling blade speed 2) The after shock delay problem only happens when you spam eq without moving. However, I just tested matching attack speed with delay, it does seem like better in dps. Where is the leech? I'm either blind, or there is no leech in your setup.

" You can get mana leech on jewels pretty easy, and for life leech in the BOR setup (not seen the 6l tree) he has life leech in the 3 axe nodes under duelist. |
