It really needs further reductions with the helm enchant to be on par with other builds. I do like the build but I just find Earthquake skill just takes forever. BTW how is everyone getting Max Block? I am only on 63%. Does everyone use Anvil necklace???? The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. " I don't really see the problem with it. Once you know how much damage the aftershock does you just hit and move on and let it clear up the trash mobs. For high hp magic mobs and rares/uniques, well you need to hit them a few times anyway. I'm not using Anvil. Block is from getting the duelist block nodes, the ascendancy bonus, either ranger or templar block and using tempest shield (Plus squeeze the last 1% out on a jewel somewhere). We only have max block while tempest shield is up, and after we have been hit so painforged is active. But that's fine - if we haven't been hit we didn't need the block chance anyway. trying to get a 75% tooltip blockchance up permanently is a much heftier investment. |

" Well that should be enough for most content? You probably have a bit less life than me as you have less on jewels, and you are using the Anvil (But you make up for that with more block, life on block and more armour). Same with damage, flat damage really helps and you only have one mastercrafted roll.You should be able to pick up quad damage jewels reasonably cheaply too - look for the weapon specific mods, they are higher and if it has one sword and one axe one, people tend to sell cheap if they don't think of varunastra builds. You also should take the by the blade cluster over some of the ones you have taken - it's almost as good as deadly dilettante. |

I am still at leveling stage( Only level 43) but multistrike on earthquake seems amazing. How good would it be on end game compared the other support gems?

little update on gear and setup:
using hatred/poachers mark for frenzy charges/flask charges which feels amazing. Doing T12-T14 maps on PHC. My gear: few things to notice is: - +1% max ress on anvil that I vaaled today (was using +1 frenzy charge before) - Null and Void gloves are beast, makes clear speed so much better with that phys immune which procs a lot. - i'm 185% all ress in hideout with this setup (77-81-76) - bought helmet with reduced EQ duration for 30c (which was a nice snipe) and rolled with few chaos for int/life/lightning ress i'm lvl 92 now and this build is the best i've ever played |

I went for a similar build (but with 11.11 attack speed without any buffs) and went for a soul taker instead. Almost similar tree though except less life. Thinking about switching to EQ again... but still gotta get used to the delay timing thing. " Didn't even know amulets could get +max res- That's really good, especially for hardcore. Poachers mark is an interesting choice too - even with just 3 frenzy charges, that is more dps added then herald of ash, although without the overkill prolif. Could switch it back on for fracture maps though if I have the socket spare. Null and void is a very interesting choice - never even considered it. Life and decent base stats too. Not sure why the next post was so excited by the attack speed - it's decent, but we can get plenty of attack speed anyway, and it's not the most important thing for EQ. I like my avoid stun mod more. |
