[2.2] Full Block Earthquake with Varunastra + Aegis (Gladiator)

To author!

Thank you sooo much for ur amazing build. (Came from EL :D)
I'm very surprised that I can easily run high tier maps so early.

I'd like to share my item setup.
only 4k life atm (lvl 78), but trying to focus on getting more life from now on.

I would appreciate if u give any comment on my setup!

Nice Build!

I`m having some trouble to find a nice price on Aegis Aurora, ppl are overpricing it a lot.
If anyone got an Aegis for Sale send me a message to negociate :>

----------------

Any thoughts on getting a +1 curse amulet or even windscream boots to be able to double curse mobs?
Reckoning>CoH>Temp Chains>Enfeble

not sure if it`ll be beneficial to the build, would like to hear some opinions about it.

thanks :>

You can use them, but giving up 1 rare that could potentially give you a lot of resist + life might be considerable.
It's personal preference, but I prefer a rare item

I love this build my first build was the real old 1 handed block aegis build( also in the duelist forum) converted to earthquake.
I didn't use a Varunastra but a rare mace but the concept was the same, i sadly died in HC on the chicken boss in village ruin map, and i remade this toon then i found out your topic and found out about some nice tips and my rebuild is doing well.
anyway good build alot of fun.

Hey, glad you are enjoying it :D

Ahn nyung ha se yo!

Your gears are really good,
one thing I would change is the belt, since armour > Wed imo.
Other than that, it seems like you have a good ele/chaos resist with decent amount of armour.

I would probably start looking for 6L setup at your point.
Thanks for sharing!

Gam sa hap ni da!

I was also considering to change my belt.
I'll try to get more armor rating from belt as u recommended.

Added my 6l setup gears, working great so far
Hi!
Been following your guide and so far I'm at 56 and enjoying facetanking everything, not even moving from big hits from Bosses :D
However I'm leaning towards moving from your original skull tree to the 6L one right now (will be fine with respec points from quests mainly).
I was comparing the trees and what I can see, 6L tree provides around 40% increased Max life more, as well as more passive regen (around 1%), more increased damage and better flask recovery (20%) with the main drawbacks of 0 leech nodes and no unwavering stance/ evasion>armor.

That was the main differences I could fond between the trees, are there any other major points?
If not, then then 6L feels supperior (more life, more damage, if US is needed just 2 points) however my question is, does this force us to get life leech on gear or jewels or does the build work without leech at all?
Currently leveling with duelist leech nodes because of comfort and could always keep those but wanted your thoughts om the leech aspect :)

Thanks for a great fun build! :)

Not to mention also replacing faster attack (BOR) with raw damage gem. More resistance on gear thus alleviate your gearing requirement / more sockets to play around with

Just checking that I've understood the weapon and build correctly, we can replace Earthquake if we feel like a change of pace right, I mean, with for instance Sunder, or Icecrash or something simlar?

Can you give full comparison? I'm thinking of switching over as well.
