Farewell, my friends!

perhaps it would be good to 'check map' on new instance, and if not good go backwards?

I wonder why players on the one hand complain about non-relevant decision-making in games like diablo 3 and then again complain here where this becomes important.

And I wonder why people keep thinking that labyrinth should stay as it is. Now I have tried a few times and get the hang of it I agree it is not THAT hard but clearly it is for SO MANY people. Why all the hate massages to the idea of separating point system from labyrinth? It isn't like it will change anything for the people who can run the labyrinth smoothly or other people who doesn't mind dying 10 times until they learn all the mechanics of the traps and bosses. They will still do it for the enchantments. Never mind I'm rambling again...
Well tbh I was suggesting subclasses like a year ago or so. Therefore I might be a bit biased about it but I originally thought this is is a good way to incentivize endgame grinding. I would not have given them to players below lvl ~75 anyway.

Classes feel not differently enough. Starting as a duelist or marauder is about the same besides a very few nodes at the very beginning.

Suggestions:

1. Why dont you create some unique extra path of passives for each charackter that rewards charackters for reaching the levels: 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, (100?). With these 5-6 extra passives you could achieve real singularity for the classes. You could create 2 choices for each class at the said levels that are refundable for 5 regrets each and involve stuff like leech rate,

5-6 extra passives, ye it got 6
5 regrets to reskill, ye thats what it is
2 subclasses, well they made 3 even better

Now what I wanna say is that this suggestion was one for endgame. I understand that GGG wants to make major things like that accessible for casuals tho. Still this to me doesnt mean that everybody should get them for free for just completing a certain act on each difficulty.

In no way this should be handed to players for free and too early, because then this just get negated by the need for a higher difficulty, metagame wise.

If you don't understand what I mean with that, here a little example:

1. GGG wants to maintain a certain difficulty for their content.

2. If everybody after clearing a3 normal is getting 2 ascendancy points that increases their damage by lets say 10%, this difficulty level cannot be maintained. In order to maintain it GGG needed to increase dmg mitigation of monsters from then on by the same 10%. The result would be that nothing has changed. It would be fraud on the player, strictly speaking, as players think they got something while they get nothing. I am sure this fraud would make alot of ppl. happy the same way they believe merchandise messages etc. but not me nor the target group PoE is aiming at since it's origin.

3. In order to prevent this from happening the optional thing is really a good solution. Players can get the benefit the earlier the more risks they are willing to take. This makes sense in a logical environment. Illogical environments wont make players happy long term (compare diablo 3) as players feel that their decisions, their progress etc. wont effect anything and wont allow them to differentiate themselves from other players.

Now I could go in detail about all this but I hope the thing became clear. Ty for asking.

I get the spinneys down there to, its a place i dont want to be and cant get out. Its hard to explain the feelings new content has brought me, but i want nothing to do with it. I only do dialys now and im forgetting what my skill keys do, so bad now, lvld and didnt give a shit.

22% more chaos to offset my nerf, didnt even care to test

Its not game's fault that you have paranoia.
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" - Edmund Burke
Step 1 use the minimap
Step 2 make it larger
Step 3 press the panel to know which room you are in
Step 4 breath, take it easy and think happy thoughts
Step 5 decide if the panic you are experiencing is enough to keep you going or not, if not just skip the labyrinth for good
Step 6 ask ggg personally to give you the points and class exclusively since you are suffering this much, they care but to what extent? it's true they have allready mentioned they wont do anything but still... it's allways an option
Step 7 stay strong
I usually do not read popular posts again after i made a comment on it, unless it's one of my own. I wish to have a Black robed Grim Reaper micro set in game one day, grant my wish, GGG

Honestly I have nothing bad against this guy. His personal problems are the reason why he doesnt like new game content, thus this thread makes newly released game content look bad, like it is harming people. That is crazy, I've never seen anything like this in my entire time on the internet. There are people who actually like this new game content. If game developers would start altering the game on minority of players who have mental problems, that would ruin the game experience for the rest of the players. That's not right.

Sorry to hear that, I don't know you but I read your post since around closed beta and I always liked your comment.
I also fear the labyrinth and went back to SC in order to not stress too much while "testing" it. I haven't done platform games since Sonic on the master system (lol)...

I hope you'll go back when Lab will be routine for everyone and smoothed by GGG. I think you can also be "carried" by a lab specialist in order to get your ascendency ?

Anyway farewell on your next trips, hope to see you around again in the future !

I agree 100%. He should have kept his departure a secret, so as not to hurt the feelings of GGG or the people who like the content.

Better yet, he should keep playing! He has no right to leave. Leaving makes the expansion look bad like you said, and that's not fair to GGG or the people who like the content. That's so rude.
