SET FREE THE ASCENDANCY POINTS (or rework the lab) [New ascension methods/lab rework ideas]

That said if you show me a top ladder run (not one that is meh but without competitors please lol) using lightning warp and leap slam, then that would prove me wrong I guess.

And that's one of the differences here; some are debating from a "top of the ladder perspective, with special designed builds, where everything gets bypassed, and therefore takes so little time, that giving any kind of feedback on the matter doesn't really serve a purpose", while others debate from the "doing the lab for ascendancy points with their regular characters, designed for other things than the lab" perspective.

Even a blind person could see that running through the traps takes less time than jumping between them - if you can take it. But equipping Brightbeak and Leap Slamming through the whole thing, IS a vastly known tactic.

The first thing requires one of three things:

1) Finding the lab fun enough to run over and over again
2) A very focused goal of income/min-maxing, where the lab is just a means to an end, and the "fun" factor doesn't matter
3) Autism

While the "regular Joes", not fitting into any of those categories uses movement skill to avoid traps, jump to ledges and so on - to be safe, in this "hardcore" element, not letting you progress from the place you died.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
I would still shield charge ;)
Leap slamming all over the place with brightbeak was a well known tactic before the lab was implemented to be honest.

I'm not saying that everybody should go phaserun or anything, don't get me wrong, it needs a specific build to work.
I'm not using it, I have only couple of char that does actually use phaserun.
I'm only saying that using movement skills that go through obstacles/gaps isn't the way to go through the labyrinth.

Now bringing autism here ...................... :/
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

To be fair, I didn't use it in a disrespectful way. I work a lot with people with autism. While I respect them as I respect all others, they tend to have certain "skills" or "preferences" connected to repetition.

But again, movement skills isn't the way to go, if...

(But you did evade that part quite nicely. High evasion rating?)

Fruz has the Phrazz Acrobatics notable. ;)
Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done.
Lay your portal gem to rest, don't you die no more.

'Cause it's a bitter sweet symphony this league.
Try to make maps meet, you're a slave to the meta, then you leave.

Acrobatics? Damn, that means we are talking about dodge, so I can't even increase my accuracy. Not fair :(

Guess I'll have to go caster, then.

Fair enough.

If what ?
They can be helpful, but they are not the most efficient ( ones that go through obstacles ).
There might be couple of patterns where one or two "jumps" might give you a slight advantage, but I would not even bet on it.

I'll just post my entire answer from the other page, maybe you'll read the whole thing this time, and get my point, instead of focusing on 10% of it + "autism".

Elemental reflect I can handle, to a certain degree :)

That wasn't a typo though, Phrazz. ;)
