It's really no worse than swapping gems or auras for certain bosses an people are calling that difficulty.

Now that you mention it, how come dying to Vagan in a fraction of a second with one build and killing the same Vagan with another build in a fraction of a second is not unfair and lab is unfair?

Sometimes I got no idea which game are people playing here, the objective is to balance PoE for controlled unfairness, you do one thing easier than others and the other thing harder. I'd probably call an archetype that does everything easily a design fail, at least as much as the one that can't do anything properly.

Maybe the game is telling you that something is wrong with your character ?

And you don't need to lower your damage, you just need to pay attention and think for a second, before going back to rolling your face on the keyboard while everything dies.

The game could add content where it randomly killed you for no reason and some of the trolls in here would say git good.

Also we all had to deal with some broken mechanics where you can do too much damage and not do quests. Pretending this isn't true is trolling. Especially for pet builds.

Any part of the game you need to modify your setup for, a specific boss or map, swapping MP for SlowProj or IncAoE for Conc, maybe tossing in a totem if you really want to kill that volatile rare on a nasty map.

Dunno, I kinda liked being able to fail a quest.

It's like someone giving you a rocket launcher and telling you to go stab a bunny to death with it.
It's really difficult to do and it makes no sense.

So if GGG really wants us to stab bunnies to death, then maybe the solution would be to not provide us with rocket launchers in the first place and not giving the bunny a kevlar vest.

It's still really difficult to stab it to death with that rocket launcher...

The higher level bunnies are still hard though. You should really try stabbing those sometime. :)

But some players managed to use their brain to actually complete those quests.

Sure, but are there any bunnies in borderlands? And are there any quests that say you have to stab them using that rocket launcher? Or do the devs of that game actually know what they are doing?

Actually... that totally sounds like something that Gearbox/2K would include in Borderlands, so I wouldn't go there if I were you... lol.
