Also fix shitty nodes around scion starting area. Every other class has better power spike nodes.

Scion has jewels. Have you seen jewels? Point me to a node that gives that much power in 1 point. :)

So it is never 1 point for any Jewel socket in Scion's starting area.

Sure, it isn't 1 point if you never get out.

Though I agree she could use an extra selling point, maybe if you had enough base stats for threshold jewels in her starting sockets so she could be the only class that could, say go dex-int part of the tree fully and still easily use a str threshold jewel if needed. Her starting area could maybe have more base stats in general, the point being that she can easily use anything in any combination but has a harder time mastering any of it.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

And if you are complaining about something that took you less than 10 mins in a video game that you spend tens of hours playing ( so I mean per character here ), that means that this behaviour is similar to one thing mostly :
A kid's tantrum

First of all, stop this childish way of debating. You know as well as me that we're not talking about "less than ten minutes". You make up your own facts to suit your arguments again, which is sad - at best. The Merciless lab took me "less than ten minutes". The we have the cruel lab. And the normal lab. And uber lab. And, what, 14 trials in addition? And even tho I can do it in "less than 10 minutes", doesn't mean that the majority can do it.

Why are they so hellbent on "forcing" players to do something they HATE and find BORING and TEDIOUS over and over again to "git gud", so maybe they will find it less BORING and TEDIOUS after lots of hours of practice? What the hell is fun about that? There are LOTS of hard challenges in this game - that are FUN and interesting. The lab isn't one of them.

No, your lack of empathy reminds me of a kid :). You're talking from YOUR perspective. You've been playing this game for four and a half year. You knew everything there was to know when the lab was introduced. YOU find it interesting and "fun" (tho you seem hesitant to use that word). I'm a guild officer, and try to help people through the lab, give them some company through their misery.

If it was something very time consuming, in a much much more significant way than the lab, then maybe.
But I would definitely not insist here)

The fact is that the lab is a VERY time consuming part of the game for people not mastering it to the fullest. And they have to "endure" this pit of idiocy over and over again. They die several times, so it becomes even more time consuming. YOU didn't hate it and find it totally boring, so you enjoyed it while you practiced. But are you willing to do something you HATE over and over to "git gud"? That doesn't belong in a video game - in my eyes.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

I can't stop using it as an argument, because that's what a lot of people in here want. Free ascendancy points. They even say that it's okay if it's just an option for them, while letting us do the lab still if we like it so much.

I mean, that's just cheating, do you get that? That's skipping content that gives you power, that's what cheaters do in games. I never understood why people would want to cheat in games, especially single player or non-competitive games. It takes all the fun out of it and makes it entirely pointless. It's about the journey, not the end, and the journey takes you through the lab.

I totally agree with this. Bu you were quoting ME, and I do not wan't the points for free. I want the journey to take me elsewhere. I can fight bosses to the end of days, or grind my ass off for the points, as long as we get an alternative.

The fact is that the current journey is taking a lot of the "fun" away for a lot of players. I know a lot of my guildies restrain from joining the leagues because of the lab, the thought of having to do it over again. Because the idea of forcing themselves to do something they hate over and over again - to "git gud" - to be able to do it "faster", so the hate would take less time - is so far from good video game design it comes.

Fair enough. Then I can get behind what you're after. :)
Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done.
Lay your portal gem to rest, don't you die no more.

'Cause it's a bitter sweet symphony this league.
Try to make maps meet, you're a slave to the meta, then you leave.
So, after all of this time you're getting behind what most of us have been vying for all along?
Better late than never, I guess.

Kudos, Phrazz for breaking through. Thought it wouldn't be possible with this one.

It's not what you're after and you know it. Please don't make me dig up your posts and quote you, because I would if that's what it takes.

You're mistaken. It is EXACTLY what I've been asking for.

Suit yourself. You might have done better just to pay more attention instead.
