His problem is the game being unstable and has nothing to do at all with the lab. Losing a T16 map due to this would be just as bad/worse. So would a HC death and countless other scenarios.

Right, it has nothing to do with the lab specifically, it has to do with the nature of any online game.

If the road had a giant pot hole that blew your tire, then yes, the road is at fault.

As a side note, just did a weekend trip to Chicago and drove by a pothole (alerted to by Waze) but 7 cars were pulled over all over the road with blown tires. That is basically lab.

Here's how it is.

When you as a developer are incapable of optimizing an overloaded graphics engine and effects generated by it and cannot fix game and server instability issues, you bite the bullet and design content with those shortfalls in mind.

Yeah because its those overloaded graphics and the stuff generated by it that is the issue with isp's routing or with outdated machines that people are using.


If you had anything of merit to contribute, by all means post, but seeing how you haven't had anything useful to contribute in such a long time, one might wonder if you even need to post at all.

Play Diablo, it has none of these issues. Play Terra, I could list more but for god sake they were using lockstep server-client coding till a year ago. That's so 90's.

What issues do you think still exists?


Diablo doesn't do anything but store information server side, which is why you can use map hacks, why you can use hacks to see what the legendary items are on the ground are, ect. I wouldn't be using d3 as a prime example of anything, it wasn't that long ago when d3 had issues where you had to "pause" the game by hitting the escape key to solve lag issues because of all of the calculations, god forbid if you were trying to play with someone else, you couldn't use specific items or sets in those cases.


No system or implementation is ever going to be perfect. Yet people play this game in hardcore, so that automatically dismisses any claims that you can't play this game in hardcore. That automatically dismisses claims about it being too much of a burden if you happen to get disconnected once out of 100 lab runs or whatever the very small number is.


Grasping at straws at this point would even be stretching on how far of a leg you have to stand on. Just because GGG doesn't change the lab, the single largest form of power creep implemented into the game to be something which the rewards are given out freely, you and about half a dozen other people do nothing but shitpost on the forums. Its actually quite pathetic.

No, Labyrinth is more like a car without a gas gauge that when it runs out of gas the engine blows.
