SET FREE THE ASCENDANCY POINTS (or rework the lab) [New ascension methods/lab rework ideas]

The fact that GGG isn't proud enough of the actual numbers to release them is proof that the numbers are bad.

They're notorious for bragging up their accomplishments. I've yet to see any GGG bragging going on about their lab/trials content.

They are notorious for a developer with a hard on not giving a crap about what is popular. They didn't brag about grouping when they limited items to ffa only too. They also didn't change it for years.

That's just a fucking lie.

Every company makes part of their marketing strategy to show of "their numbers".

Blizzard and HS, Riot in LOL, Valve and DOTA or Steam.

When the numbers are good, they are good for the business to make them public, to get to the press and new sites, sometimes even to make to the regular media streams.

Even non gamers know about WOW and have some idea about the numbers and "how huge it was at some point" because it's a solid marketing strategy.

It gets your brand and product all over the place.
And let's not even talk when they look for investments or want to cash out and sell to a bigger corporation.

Bad numbers are the ones you don't see that often.

Even tho depending on the company legal status, in some cases they have an obligation to at least inform, if not the public, some institution to secure transparency for potential shareholders or wrv.

Holy shit, the bullshi3t we have to read in this forums.
Even GGG was "proud" that Breach was a success... how do you sell that if you don't show some kind of statistics.

What numbers did they release about Breach ?
There is a statistics anouncment with only %based figures related to in game achievement, which tells absolutely nothing about how popular it was, but has there been something else ?
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
There wasn't something else. That's the point he's making.

I was putting more emphasis on the fact that even though Breach is one of the most succesful league so far ( apparently ), GGG didn't bother to release stats, meaning that them not releasing stats for the lab does not mean that they are bad.

They know that a huge portion of the accounts were and are bots.

You don't know that, they do.
And they know how much money they are getting from supporters, another thing that you don't know.

But actually, you don't know anything here, you have no actual measurable facts about the PoE population, and GGG has some.
