There wont be a fix since there is no problem. You just dislike said content and thats fine by me and GGG. No one is aiming to please everyone here. The game would be trash if GGG tried to make every individual happy.

In fact, I'll say that you're the ONLY ONE doing it that way and be just as correct as you are.

And I'll say that I am sometimes doing it that way too. Now, unlike Fruz, you are completely incorrect.

Good thing there's two of you. Otherwise it would have been a colossal waste of our donated developmental resource money.

I expected nothing less :)).

SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Really sad that they didnt change anything with the lab this league. Its still the worst part for me

And you will have to wait even longer, because 2.6 will be another challenge league with 3 difficulties.

Chances are they won't change much, aside from allocation of how many points people get per lab in 3.0

Honestly though, if the worst part of teh game is the lab, a task that can be done in an hour or less (for all points) per character, that is not a significant amount of time to be doing something you don't like.

Such a shame.

Doesnt matter how fast some other payers can do it, I am slow and I need minimum around 2h to 3h for all the trials (6 per dif + for uber) and 4 labs per character (if I do not die or crash, disconect) and that is a lot of time of terrible gameplay for any game.

I hope that with 3.0 they will remove the points from the lab and put them behind some other "normal" type of content, so people like me are not forced to do this boring and horrible part of game with every character.

You are not play another game. They made the game a diffrent one than we like. Accept it and move on.
As long as they make enough money they do not give a shit about us.
Accept it.

One of you should start a lab lover thread to compete with these ones. I mean, rather than spending time in ours shooting us down, make your own 'pro-lab' thread and defend the status quo :)

(I promise to not aggressively and rudely troll it as some of you do with ours.)

I'm not exactly sure when the idea emerged that a developer has to give a shit about every single player. Making a game serves essentially two purposes a) make money (because it is what they are doing for a living) and b) realize your ideas

Ideally you end up in a state where people enjoy what you made, but that is very unlikely to be true for every single human. So if you make new content you look at your checkboxes to see a) Did it create money, and b) did I realize my ideas (or visions). If the answer to both is yes, move on.

At this point they likely did exactly that and moved on. Which doesn't mean that they will never change anything in the lab. 3.0 would be a good time to gut it a bit to make room for other things. Removing the pre map trials could be done easily without having any negative affect on the lab and they are propably the least liked part because they are incredible unrewarding.

I think your last sentence is a very important point. Regulator likes to point out that GGG did initially include some information on amount of labyrinth play and seemed to indicate that they would continue providing the same information in the future but that they never did.

That is actually not quite true. Before talking about certain threads... why not just link them:

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1622774

They did mention that they will provide other statistics (like used items), there was no mention of providing that information again.

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1630211

This was the result of those promises. So the only thing they did was listing some stats, they also didn't provide stats like those before either, they just sometimes provides random stats, like how many people died to normal Hailrake.

No one is asking they make the game diffrent than it was. All they are asking is that it become an ARPG again and stop trying to become a bad platform game.

Its like paying for a Porsche 911 and getting a decked out Ford Bronco as a 'upgrade' because the car designer got bored of making sports cars.

They will no more remove the points from the lab then they would the game.

If you are fine without AC points then by all means remove them from the lab.

Or stop complaining, adapt to how GGG decided to design THEIR game and just play, or quit.
How much more plain do you want me to put it for you?

It's like you're looking at a piece of art, like the Mona Lisa, yeah? And you're the guy who goes like "Meh, I want it to be a man."

You're allowed to dislike it, of course, you're even allowed to express your dislike with it, but demanding it changed? Unless it was made specifically for you, no. Just, no.

GGG has created a jewel of a game that has a still growing player base enjoying it every day, so they must be doing something right. But even if they are not according to 99% of every player that ever created an account, it still wouldn't give you the right to demand anything changed. It's THEIR creation, if you think you can do better, by all means, do it.

There's a huge difference between giving feedback, which is great and very welcome, and what this thread has become. Demanding the complete removal of a core part of the game that's even OPTIONAL already... did you ever stop to think the problem may be with you? If I don't like something I had for dinner, I'm not going to blame the cook, he/she knows what they're doing. I'll just eat something else next time, or deal with not liking it if I can't.

This goes for all you Lab hatemongers, by the way. All 3 of you.
Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done.
Lay your portal gem to rest, don't you die no more.

'Cause it's a bitter sweet symphony this league.
Try to make maps meet, you're a slave to the meta, then you leave.
