Correct, "a vocal minority" is not the same thing as saying "the vocal minority part of the minority group of people disliking labyrinth". But it is still off topic.

I believe that the people disliking labyrinth is perhaps a slim majority. I don't believe that Chris ever meant to say and didn't say that the people disliking labyrinth are a minority. He only said the people vocal about it are a minority as Shredzilly has pointed out. But it is still doesn't matter.

First because Chris has no way of knowing whether it is actually a minority or a majority.

Second because we have no way of knowing whether it is actually a minority or a majority.

Third because even if it were a minority, that does not mean that it wouldn't be fixed.

Fourth because people disliking labyrinth don't have to even care what people liking the labyrinth believe and vice versa.

Fifth because we are just giving our feedback and suggestions here in the Feedback and Suggestions forum.

Sixth because it is a GGG decision not a forum poster's decision as to what feedback and suggestions should be considered for implementation.

Reading comprehension is a key skill. The fact that people are even trying to argue what Chris said is quite sad.

For one, you do not say lab haters are a vocal minority and then say many people like and hate lab and assume he means a majority hate lab. Hes already clarified lab haters are a minority. When he says many dislike lab, he is simply refering to the vocal minority presened earlier. When he says many like lab, he is simply refering to the silent majority. People who like lab will not complain about lab. Few people who like lab will go to the feedback and suggestions forum to provide positive feedback on lab. That is something people are most likely going to do in general discussion. If you think lab is great there is nothing to provide feedback on. As such that is classified as general discussion.

Chris says he loves devisive content. That means he loves that some people hate lab while others enjoy it. It is not something that is going to change. The reason you hate lab is because you are scared to do lab. But as long as it is rewarding, devisive content is good content.

Chris also says player retention is higher with Lab in the game. Why would Chris imply that lab haters are a majority if player retention is higher? This only bolsters the fact that lab haters are a minority. Lab haters dont play, or do play and are the small less than 1% of the current active player base whining on the forums that Lab is a problem that needs to be fixed.

Go back and take a look at the announcement for Endgame Labyrinth (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1664978/page/1) you will see nearly every page is positive and happy to see this addition to the game.

Also take note that no large grouping of people who like lab are ever referenced in OP as well. There are plenty of supporters on reddit who like lab, all you have to do is look at any reddit post positive about lab and look at how many people have upvoted their post, clearly meaning they agree that lab is great. Just below I have enough supporters who love lab for every single supposed lab hater in OP, not even counting the ones in this forum or all of them on reddit. This is just a small sample size.

I can only speak for myself, but you are implying people hate the lab because they are scared,doesn´t apply to me at all and from what I have read to many others not liking the lab aswell.

The Lab is not difficult for me !

I can nearly do the lab with closed eyes, because I have gone through the lab with about 20 different characters and I even made a Lab Runner to participate better in this discussion.
The Lab is p*** easy for me, but that doesn´t make me like it, because i find it tedious, boring and simply not fun to get the Ascendancy Points.
So with every new Char, and I´m a Twinker at heart, I have to run 3 times a Content that gives me a bad Feeling right from the start, not because I´m afraid to die ( I play Hardcore 95 % of my time) or because it is to hard for me, but because it is the opposite of fun for me.

Have you tried it with 20 different Chars ?

Sooo 8 months later Lab is still pile of shit with a cherry on top, WKs are still being WK-ey and GGG is still silent on the matter. Can't wait for Act 5 and demise of Cruel, myself. One less Lab to run is always great news.
