This game has averaged over 15k concurrent players on steam alone this league. Assuming that the average player plays 4 hours per day or less that represents 90k players on the steam client per day. At the absolute most 100 of those 90k players have come to the forums to complain about the lab. What percentage of GGG's revenue stream do you think the lab haters represent?

I am unaware of any other feature/problem/system within PoE during its existence that has been the focus of such negative discussion. Turtle is right. People hate the lab. Just do your research and due diligence. And yes, it is costing PoE money. I won't buy any more supporter packs until the lab is removed as a requirement for ascendancy points. I believe Turtle said the same thing. I'm sure there are many others as well (and those we hear from probably represent a fraction of those who are of the same mindset).

Regardless, this issue is constantly rubbed in GGG's face on a daily basis; not only by veterans, but new players as well - and before this thread, there were new threads about hatred for the lab popping up daily. The lab is a terrible idea, plain and simple, and until GGG fixes it, their support team will continue wasting time, energy and effort on monitoring/addressing/reporting the constant flow of complaints. Oh and they'll be missing out on money from players like us who feel the lab truly ruined a critical aspect of the game - to the extent we won't give any more money until it's fixed.

They'll do just fine without your money. You're obviously no longer their target audience.

Oh, that many? According to GGG PoE has 15 million players, or something in that ballpark, of distinct "account names" (it's BS, since most of them are bots and alt-accounts, but let's humour GGG for a sec...).

Considering those numbers, only 0.0000416% of "account names" bothered to express negative feelings about the Lab. If we use the same metrics, you guys will be lifting for a while... :P

Also note that the threats of witholding support matter less and less. We (international supporters) have already done our job - supporting the game when it was unknown and the company when it was a nobody. GGG is breaking through into Chinese goldmine market and any loss of old disgruntled backers, will be covered 1000x over by P2W features there. Who knows, lucky Chinese players might be even able to skip the Lab and ascend for just 50 dolla'... :)

That's fine, I don't judge you for that. But I do judge you for disingenuous "I don't care about all you losers, man!" statements. It makes you look rather flimsy. Just be honest about your own (quite obvious) emotional investment; it is a position which is much easier to respect.

Your point is acknowledged, but you conveniently ignore the % of those players who then deny the criticisms of the lab. You can't have it both ways. Either the tiny minority who post in the forums somehow represent a larger majority, or they don't.

Personally, I feel that it is somewhere in between. That there is a representation existing here in the forums but that it is impossible to say to what degree the posters represent an exact percentage of the overall player base.

That said, I also consider the above irrelevant. If 99.99% of the player base enjoyed the lab, and one single player out of all of them came on these forums to say that the lab isn't fun because of reasons XYZ, and XYZ reasons have merit, then those reasons are no less valid than if that single person represents a majority of players who are discontent with the lab.
