And keep bumping this thread with nasty, condescending comments, sidtherat. I find the irony entertaining.

Honestly, GGG know about this thread, bumping it or not at this point I think will not change anything, especialy given the content of (at least) most posts.

Indeed they do. But people like sidtherat keep stirring the shit, bringing more lab-haters (and lab-lovers) out of the woodwork, and further amplifying the damage that content this divisive has done and is doing to the community.

If anything, it puts further pressure on GGG to make some changes, SOMEWHERE. I think sidtherat would prefer the status quo in this case, however. Thus my statement about the amusing irony. :)
Wash your hands, Exile!
At this point its just Become RED vs BLUE. Nobody even cares anymore to truely discuss it. A few people stay above the fray but all the rest just pretty much hate each other. Content this divisive needs to be changed. Look what its doing to us all. They should actually lock this thread. It is not going anywhere and has not gone anywhere for eons now. Just devolved into name calling and insults. GGG knows by now what the deal is. If they do not or do not care or can not change it then this thread is not going to change it.

They have already stated the manifesto for future and lab changes were nowhere to be found. The dream is dying ever so slowly and its ultra painful to watch. I can hardly even take it anymore. Not sure how much fight I got left boys.

Have you even seen them ? run them ?
I don't think so.

Trap patterns that you cannot see the end of, that gate the boss.
And not, maybe you have not tried the Atlas at all, but skipping a map => loosing on overal bonus, loosing on the chance to get the next map.

There will be more and more traps in the future, deal with it.
Not less, more.

I have played the Pier map and probably won't ever play it again because it is boring irritating and not fun to go through the trap game play part of that map. I also played a map a few times (I forget the map name.) that has traps in the final boss fight. To me that was similar to the final Izaro battle which I have no trouble with. As long as the focus is on kill monsters and get loot then I consider it fun ARPG game play. I consider Izaro to be one of the best battles in the game. If there are other maps in the category that you describe, then I doubt that I've played them but would appreciate you letting me know which maps those might be. (I played PoE for the first time today in a couple of weeks but would appreciate a warning if/when I run into those maps.)

This is the only map that I have seen like it so far, but having such a map definitely means that GGG was not planning to stop about traps ( I mean, such trap layouts ).
I did feel that it was a bit much to be honest, for this map.
I heard from others that there were traps in other maps ( I have not been mapping a lot yet, going through the Atlas in a fresh league in HC at my own pace and solo, so ... I would not be surprised that traps would be more for higher maps ).

If I find another one like it, I'll send you a message.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

There are three with traps.
There's only one map that has (very short) trap gauntlets you need to pass, the other two are:

- don't run into rotating logs
- don't stand on lava

IMO, GGG should refrain from putting trap gauntlets into maps, but an occasional trap obstacle in the boss room is very welcome and spices up the fight.

You guys just want everything on a silver platter? Work through the frogger stuff and LIKE IT. Guys like you two will turn PoE into a casual fest.

Poe is already a casual fest, but idk if you know this or not, but the OP of this thread and even yourself have posted about putting the rewards of AC points behind Malachai, instead of requiring the lab.

Remove MF from POE, make juiced map the new MF.

In the end it is the non vocal majority that decides if change is needed.

With less than 2k people of the entire player base saying they dislike lab, change is not comming any time soon.

If I disliked lab so much and wanted it to change, id voice my opinion on the forum and hope it changes. If I think its fine though id either never go to the forums, or go to the forums and voice my opinion on why it needs to stay the way it is.

Just in the steam client there are over 37k players. So realistically the players who dislike lab are extremely niche. Now if we are to assume the amount of players playing at once is similar or better than it was in 2014 (70k players at same time at peak hours according to chris wilson) then we get a perspective of how miniscule lab haters are who have voiced their opinion. Less than 3% of the entire currently active player base. And thats the best case scenario if we said 2000 different people dislike lab.

Less than 3% of players have voiced their dislike of lab. You guys are beating a dead horse here, nothing is going to change.
