If they quit complaining it might be for the best to just do it anyway. Chances are most focus is on finishing the next expansion and league before it starts, pushing stuff like improving the lab or any other lab changes further and further back, if they even had those plans to begin with.

Maybe, but it's generally bad practice to move forward with such a glaring defect in the product. Imagine trying to upgrade an OS with a proprietary digital store while you still have rampant security issues. Granted, these products are vastly different, but the principle still holds true. One way or another, they need to do something about Lab: Fix it or state that they have no intention to. At least let the customer make an informed decision about using said product.

Until you hear otherwise I'd just assume they aren't going to make a change. Check back here in 3 weeks to a month when they announce the next expansion and league and see if it is among the list of changes.


For them to "fix it" they would have to identify it is a true problem for the game to begin with. Yes some people are dissatisfied with it, but this thread and others have proven that is for many reasons, no limited to just as you say "poor design or something is broken"


Again I tried to push this thread and others into what would more then likely be the overall best thing to do, but people didn't want to discuss it they rather repeat the same stuff over and over again, it doesn't help that a certain smurf account essentially massively shitposted on the forums and it wasn't until recently that account was taken care of.

If people would like to discuss the whole less traps, more puzzle like lab, I'll make a thread specifically for that, with the caveat that any low effort or offtopic post will be removed or the thread locked if people aren't willing to stay on topic.

Casul_ascent was the first victim of the Great Labyrinth battle. Let's hope he is also gonna the last.

This has got to be the lowest point in the history of POE that we cant even get information on the plans for lab by a company priding itself on communication. They need to get a GGG roundtable and call the dev heads of state that be and hold a vote. Vote yay or nay for removing lab and if it nay the lab stays then vote yay or nay on removing ascendancy from it and then tell us the vote. Its time GGG. A post doesnt get to 190 pages by accident. Ppl care about this one either for or against lab. Give at least one side the power to completely leave the game. Settle this once and for all or this is never going to end.
