Izaro is a tough one to kill without +life and +%life (sure, some can do that with a well built FOTM COOKIE but Joe Casual HAS to have both of these). treat Lab as a whole. but it is all moot as anyone who have run Lab more than few times knows: getting hit by traps is a trivial nonissue blown out of proportion by people repeating hearsay 'evidence' + some emotional background. " How about instead of this, you code the puzzles to spawn next to the traps you absolutely have to do to progress and instead of deactivating traps or opening a random door to a silver cache or chest, it opens a passageway that bypasses the traps in that area (Not the single traps scattered around, just the extreme cases of concentration of traps with no choice but to go through them. There already is a semi-circular type of passageway that often spawns close to them). It could make the lab feel like a real labyrinth instead of a "hug the right wall and you're good" experience. Also make the puzzles more difficult than they are now. Instead of the skyrim-like "see the picture press the picture and win", provide a note/ plaque next to the puzzle that you have to stop and read in its entirety to solve the puzzle, making this way of completing the labyrinth the slowest way possible but also safest one. " The issue with that is the effect it will have when paired with various things. For example if you make it so it is next to traps that you have to do to progress, then it make its clear which is the right way or wrong way, due to the nature of "must do", this has a large affect on racing the lab because it will show which way is the correct way. So not really good there. The other issue with solving puzzles is that there can only be so many combinations and either a) its the same per day, per lab (maybe per league) or its random out of a list of ones, but that doesn't necessarily fit the scheme of the current lab, nor does it allow for it to really be challenging if you just match up the answers to one of a list. You want to ensure its the slowest way, but by allowing people to disable or bypass the traps, people can run fast, while being 100% safe if they just have the answer to the puzzle. This removes the risk\reward system and turns one of the pieces of content that was designed to be somewhat deadly into basically a joke. Now there is potentially some answers here, first of which is that it could force the lab to become "enraged" and all stages of the boss fight would become tougher, you could make it so it drops less keys as well, maybe even have it activate negative darkshrine effects, but all of these, including the suggested puzzle to bypass traps would likely take a good amount of time to implement. " If you are actually racing you already know the layout so no problem there. Rest of your arguments are garbage too. Just running with a quicksilver and/or spamming movement skills will always be faster than standing around and clicking a bunch of things. " The exact layout and traps do have some variation from instance to instance, of course how would you know this you don't ever fucking play the lab. This is the exact reason that discussing this with people like yourself is pointless, because you are too ignorant to know the difference and your responses are a clear indication that you have no fucking idea whats going on in the game. Thats fine, I won't waste anymore time responding to your stupid comments, learn about the lab before you actually say someone is wrong. Of course its fucking faster to just run over the traps running as fast as possible, my issue with that is you dont always know which way is right or not, given the fact there can be differences. Like I just don't even know how someone like yourself feels the need to say someone is wrong, when you are the one that is wrong. The best way to handle this might be, IX could be slightly modified to include this as an option?
