SET FREE THE ASCENDANCY POINTS (or rework the lab) [New ascension methods/lab rework ideas]

Hi

Free ascendancy points=lol.

I am not for free ascendancy points but I would like to suggest the idea that if you can't get through the lab maybe(highly doubt it), just maybe(really don't think it'll happen) the devs will give players a few ascendancy points after they lvl to 100, because that's how awesome they are also. My shitty SF geared character is rocking mostly due to the champ fortify pts:P

The lab also reminds me of that Van Helsing game with its traps, which are very easy once you time it. I would also like to suggest after each Izaro fight it becomes a sort of save point so if you die in lab you return to that spot as opposed to the very beginning, and add more secret rooms with perandus treasures! very odd there is no perandus stuff in the new league in the lab.

Nobody forces you to cook or go to a restaurant, you can survive with just plain bread, yet nobody does that in Europe. Nobody forces you to buy new clothes, nobody forces you to clean up etc so keep that suggestions to your mother.

It's very rude to introduce a game as an RPG and then ask (force actually) the player to play a Mario kind of game. If I want to play a game of dexterity I will play a game of dexterity. Here I play an RPG.

I know that this post won't change anything. There are a lot of obnoxious kids who play poe and for them the laby will be more or less easy. There are also the sheep who always do as they are told. These people have forgotten what fun is.

This Izaro does not give exp, does not drop loot (no currency, no uniques, no rares, no treasure keys),you can NOT party to kill him and you get only one chance per day. When killed he only drops an ascendancy book that rewards the player with 2 points that then he can use to Ascend. He cannot be abused in any way. He could even be buffed a bit to compensate for not running his frustrating plaything.

Seriously there are so many ways to actually set this right, and GGG in their infinite wisdom can surely see reason.

Killing Dominus: 1 ascendancy point
Killing Daresso: 1 skill point
Killing Malachai: 1 ascendancy point
Izaro: Drops a unique and divination cards that cannot drop anywhere else

Actually realized I would enjoy the Labyrinth prolly under a few changes:
-not related to play online and lags
-not related to ascendancy class points making it feel like I am forced to play

as of now it just made POE much worse of a game for me:
the new interesting stuff (build making including the new classes and then testing the builds) is hidden behind something I did not choose POE as my favourite game for (time consuming trap game that is ended upon lags easily and has to be restarted completely).
Big bummer and in the end I would not want the points completely free, but currently the game is done for me. Did some chars to Ascendancy classes in SSC and one in PSC.
The more often I play the lab just for that points the less I like it actually.

personaly i enjoy lab becouse its diferent from the "moar clear speed" gameplay the rest of the game has, that being said i can understand that not everyone enjoy it as i do.

i think lab should be introduced as extra content rather than a way to unlock ascendancy classes say:

same lab but +500 iir, 70% less iiq and izaro drops an aditional random unique (numbers may be a bit off)

that should leave us with quality vs quantity content, maps that favour fast clear speed for quantity (orbs farming, exp) and lab for quality (more likely to drop high quality items plus enchantments)

ascendancy points should be given after defeating malachai, he is not easy at all and it will give a reason for players to go past the mines once they get the +1 skill point.

Tried lab once made it to final phase boss before taking a piss. Hated it. I hate tunnel map so most def labs is not my cup of tea. However only 3x is not much to ask for power given. Freebies not needed.

BTW In fact labs/ascendancy not needed at all I was doing Atziri with every build and uber with about 1/4 of them well before labs ever existed.

+1 and standard boys wake up!

Even todays news somewhat imply, what many are saying about the new content being a clone of indiana jones! definately AC points needs to be removed from lab and place them around bosses.

Like Merciless Malachai for example...anyone knows this boss in Merciless?

I totally agree with that, as the game is right now AC are not needed for doing high level content. But they seem so much fun and they are the only thing the expansion offers. Having to play this alternate bullshit to have access for them just removes the fun completely.
