Labyrinth, the worst content ever made in POE?

RNG on lab enchant is WAY too random. Sure, it can be very powerful, but it has a much, much greater likelihood of being absolute rubbish.

They don't know what hiding is... they don't know what dodging is... they are morons.

Same shit was done with talismans, now we got super bad enhancement system. GGG just hate every player THAT much.

The labyrinth is a dull, boring, tedious waste of time. Made all the worse by GGG's shit servers. I can only take getting D/C'd so many times in the lab (including at the ascendancy altar) before I call it quits. The entire idea behind the labyrinth and tying ascendancy to it is such a stupendously retarded thought I cannot even begin to imagine how it actually got implemented into the game.

I'm done until someone at GGG comes to their senses and allows ascension without running through the labyrinth and trials.
I would love to get a challenging, high level version (with useful item level) of the labyrinth, without oneshots though, that's not challenging, that's retarded. Also the enchants adjusted in some way so you aren't trying to win lottery.

Challenges that include tons of labyrinth runs?LMAO.

Do you even understand that challenges should actually be challenging ? What would be a point to call it a challenge if you can complete it in a single run, just lol.

Agree with that, having the lab capped at this low level kinda sucks, thats actually the only reason for me to never run it again after you get your points.

Enchants should be improved in a way which would allow players to choose a group of enchants like those are already sorted in challenges.
I hate the Lab. I hate it with a passion. Supposedly, Izaro in Normal was toned down. Nope, the fight is still BS. There is no excuse for Izaro being as difficult as he is. Izaro and the Lab are positioned in Act 3 before Dominous. Izaro and the Lab should not be any more challenging than the Dominous fight, and certainly should not be any more challening than Malachai in Act 4. But this is not the case. And quite frankly, I'm sick and tired of having to skip Izaro, getting to Dominous and then having Dominous, and the entirety of Act 4, including Malachai being a cake walk.

I want to Ascend at the point in the game where the Lab is unlocked, you know, in Act 3 after all the trials have been done to unlock the Lab. Having to skip the Lab, kill Dominous, blow through the entirety of Act 4 and move on into cruel before I can come back do the Lab in Act 3 Normal is completely ridiculous. Worse, not fun. And the not fun part is exacerbated by the fact there are no check points or way points in the Lab to pick up where you left off if you need to leave and come back later or you simply got killed and need to respawn.

I mean really, who thought it was a good idea to string 7 to 10+ zones together and have no check points or way points to pick up where you left off? What has been created with the Lab would be equivalent to forcing us to start in Lioneye's Watch, run all the zones to the Cavern of Anger, and then kill Merveil in one sitting without dieing or having to portal out take a break... otherwise find yourself back in Lioneye's having to start all over. This... would be load of BS. Lab is a load of BS.

Typically, I like to roll alts upon completing challenges or getting bored with high level characters. This league, I rolled a couple of alts. And I'm disgusted. My level 43 poised to kill Malachai has tried and failed to kill Izaro twice. Complete BS because I know Malachai will be a joke. My level 50'ish near or in Act 3 Cruel has not Ascended either. This char was my second char, created and leveled before Izaro was supposedly toned down, so didn't even try while in Normal because the I knew the fight was going to be BS. And now that I'm where I'm at in Cruel, not Ascended and completely disgusted with Lab, I'm not going back to Normal to kick Izaro's ass now simply on principle. Then game should have allowed to succeed when I was appropriate level in Act 3 Normal. I refuse to partake in having to go back after over leveling and out gearing the completely unbalanced content. It's not fun.

I think that once I ding Zana 8 to complete my 36th challenge, I'm done and won't be playing again until the next new league. The fun of this league was the Ascendancy classes... but Ascending is road-blocked by the BS Lab design and unbalanced boss fight. No point in playing when Ascension is not achievable upon unlocking the Lab appropriate levels.
Yeah, I think they could have done so much more with the lab for end game issues. If lab could be run at a higher lvl, maybe 75 or even 78, it could have offered a nice alternative to the boring map grinding. I'd gladly do a lab run after 4-5 maps if it gave me real exp.
200 runs and still counting... Everything would be ok if you couldnt get same enchantments over and over again till you run through all of them...

- boring

You right, 1 RANDOM enhancement per FULL run lab? WHAT GGG THINKING WHEN INTRODUCE IT?

That the bonuses you can get from it are extremely powerful? That multiple people run the labs for the enchantments, that some people enjoy grinding for the "lotto type craft"

They could be slightly better in design, but I like the 1 enchant per run thing, if you run it too slow of course it is going to feel sluggish, so get a better build or start learning the lab more.

This is not the poin. The point is "hey, i have a 1hour to play this game: what should i do? Experience and (maybe) some good drops doing maps, or... doing 4-5 runs going for the labyrinth that has 1/300 chance to give me the boost for the skill (they've said that the skill are 300+, and every skill has 2-3 different enchants).
It clearly doesnt make sense. This is disincentivating, and it should be not (considering it is the core of the patch).

You know this is absurd. Its not a boost like having a 6l that really make your dps go to the stars. Its just a boost, visible upgrade (like it should) but it doesnt completely change your stats.

Surely there needs to be some RNG mechanics: after all, we are playing Path of Exile. But at least they could make you do some decision, in order to limit that insane randomness, like dividing all the enchants for spells, auras, Attacks, ecc.
I dont think they should give you more tries per run. I think they should spare the skill enchant.

The lab map layout should be redesigned (one or more of below combinations):

-make it shorter by one third
-reposition some weird/ugly trap combinations: So you can evade them easier
-silver caches now grant additional 'lifes' (max stack:3) which you can use for labyrinth respawn (and keeping the current progress) at each current Izaro encounter
-make Argus a side-boss before the final Izaro Trial (he's his best 'friend')

Note:
-keep the trap damage
-keep Izaro damage but spawn less traps (final encounter)
