There are others that seem to totally ignore the fact that the issue is not really player skill nor a build problem for most people that dislike the labyrinth but instead has to do with the game play being boring and not fun. Then put on top of the boring and not fun, GGG has miraculously managed to marry that with frustrating by most notably forcing one to retread all the boring and not fun content on a death/dc. Even that is more frustrating than it should be because lag and disconnects and such things are all too common in the labyrinth.



Nah, fun is important. I just have a problem with shit arguments generally. And there are some types of fun that are unnaceptable (specially the "I win" button types, games made around that mentality tend to become shallow).

You should know that there are many reasons people would dislike the labyrinth (performance issues, forced hardcore, some just hate anything non linear, some hate dark areas, some people have difficulty doing it, some people feel entitled to faceroll, and then there are ARPG purists). I wouldn't jump to say people have no skill problems (specially with all the one shot complaints or asking for toning down trap damage; that's just a learn to play issue unless you have performance problems or you play CI/Low life). It's like a Invasion 2.0, a poor initial reception doomed the whole thing. And some complaints are just plain bullshit.

PS: It's opportunity cost. When there are constrained resources like time, you have to consider which is the path that takes the least resources. That's the path that will be taken for people playing at the ladder, for example. Any alternative to the labyrinth shouldn't generate a disadvantage for someone running the labyrinth while leveling, else you are limiting player choices. You'd be surprised of how fast people can do act IV.

On topic again: Nobody is saying you guys shouldn't be having fun. What you fail to understand, it seems, various people find different things fun. If you take away things from Labyrinth, you will have fun, but other people won't. And this is the problem we have here. Not GGG being after you. If you think that GGG is that, you're just being paranoid.

Change that absurd mechanic enhancement to something usable and acceptable - for example 50 enhancement per 1 run lab.

i think the worst thing about labyrinth is that it's a labyrinth. Only thing meaningful in whole content is the boss izaro. And there are 2 sides to izaro, some love the unique challenge he represents, others really hate that its too hard of a boss since if you fail you lose all progression.

Imo, they should change concept of it and make it a daily run, but you dont lose progression when you die, just thrown back to the start of the area. %10 xp loss on merciless is already quite a big loss, and to be honest being thrown back all the way to beginning just because you made 1 mistake, or boss that day had op mechanics, its just extremely frustrating.

I seriosly doubt people wont have fun if ggg removes AC points from lab.If ggg would remove ac points from lab,everbody profit:players who cant stand it dont need to do it 3 times per char and lab lovers can still do it for enchanments all day long.
I find it hard to belive that anyone would complain if they remove ac points from lab,even sidtherat.

I have to agree 100%, i dislike ascendansy classes being gated, im being forced into this to try the new expansion and i really hate the traps. I think the idea in theory looks appealing and i cant blame them for putting this into the game, but some changes may be needed in order to please everyone. First remove the tie between labs and ascendansy, make labs loot amazing for people who like to do it and everyone lives happy forever.basically labs should be a special kind of map with special kind of rewards, completely optional.
Why labs so bad? Because we forced to waste our time by searching our enhancement with such an bullshit made rng with ONLY ONE try for billion randomness, it gave nothing but forced players to find other way and some ways not acceptable by GGG.

Maybe change it to something MORE fun and acceptable by players? I seriously think searching enhancement should be much more "friendly" and faster then now, stop feed scammers and bots by forcing us to do what no one want.

You mean trap damage? Huh, they farm red maps with easy and think traps can stop them? Don't think so

I don't think the Labyrinth is all bad. There could be some changes to it for sure, no questions about that.

The real issue here is that rhe Labyrinth is trying to be more than just a challenge to beat Izaro for enchantments and passives.

It is also about finding hidden passages and hidden rooms. Finding keys for loot around the Lab and in the final room.

The problem is there is no real insentive to find those secrets. Silver keys is not worth the time to get. Golden keys are just really annoying.

I would love it if Silver keys were removed, and have to cool loot drop from the chest that would have dropped the key.

Golden keys should not open a mandatory door. They should instead be more rare and used to open a secret treasury room with worthwile loot. For example a mini vaults of Atziri containing a high quantity chest and a couple of vaal vessel's. It would be a great way to get Vaal fragments. There could be a small chance to get a unique strongbox in the room, like the ones in Oba's cursed trove.

But the biggest issue I got with the Lab is the fact that I can't trade with players while inside. Until there is another way to do trades, the Lab is not a place I want to spend my time.
