First Wave of Trade Improvements

So this is the first of many trade changes and they gated it behind Premium stash tabs. From here it can go two ways imho:
1- the next improvements will feature asynchronous trade, a mode that will allow you to trade with someone that's in a different istance( great when mapping!) etc. but only if you have Premium stash; if these improvements will prove better than the trade system we have now, most traders will get some Premium tabs and the old tools will become obsolete and no longer work as good (lol); so people with no Premium tabs will be screwed = p2w (even more than now). 2- GGG will add this improvement - and the coming ones - to Regular Tabs also, so traders will need more tabs (as it is now); if these improvements will prove better than the trade system we have now, the latter will become obsolete and everyone will trade with the new system, which everyone has access to - even if limited to the basic 4 tabs- at least... = f2p The way I see it, 1 will get GGG more money but more hate ( I'd be among the haters), the second less money but more love, since they'll stick more to their principle of f2p. Again, it's just my view of the matter, curious to se where they'll go... Seriously, does anyone here have an idea as to why they are currently setting this up for premium tabs only? Did anybody even consider that there might be some good reasons for that (aside of GGG being oh-so-evil, greedy, and mean)? What about bots, that would use these tabs to flip items all day if they came for free with every account ever created? What about the possibility, that they might want to have a smaller testing population for start, to see how the constant updating affects their servers performance? What about the simple fact that the bandwidth that is being used to enable such a feature in the first place costs money? What about all those people, some call them freeloaders, who complain here despite there is nothing changing for them at all? The game does not get worse for you folks because somebody else is throwing money at it. It stays the same for you up to this point, that being said, nothing has been taken away from you. In fact it gets better for you "freeloaders", because we are paying for your fun here as well. Think about that for one single solitary second: We pay your bills here, love to break it to you guys, you're welcome... And I am in no way shape or form sorry about there being something in the bag for me this time around. It's funny how forgetting you guys are, when it comes to changes like this. Did GGG ever ask you for money to enable deterministic lockstep for you? No, they did not, everybody got it for free, eventhough GGG had to revamp their game engine for that, which is a lot of work, that many players (if not most) did not even remotely pay enough for, just saying. Now look at yourselves with all that distrust and hatred for no real reason other than you not being part of it for the moment. Looks like back in the days when the awakening beta was a thing, every other crybaby felt they deserved a spot in the beta over everybody else, same shit right here, right now. But all you do is crying out, eventhough you got a full fletched game for free here, with all the bells and whistles. And spare me your "trading faster than others is unfair and OP" gibberish, how much of an advantage these tabs really provide still remains to be seen. By the same token you might consider it an unfair andvantage if someone has a better internet connection than you do, or a better gaming PC, or a bigger monitor, or someone who uses procurement/acquisition instead of /trade 1-20. For real now, stop hating for no reason, and wait for what's to come. When you are proven right, you can start crying again, until then you folks need to cool it. I dont really know why all call this p2w.
I think most people who trade alot, brougt stash tabs allready. and i dont think trading software get obsolete. because poeple who used trading software like procurement for a long time, will still keep on using it. as i understand, the new api will update things for sale in forums faster, to a site like xyz. If the people falsely accusing GGG of making this game P2W put 1/10 the effort into saving/making a few $$, that they put into crying, the whole world would have premium tabs. FYI, I soloed to 90 on my witch this league, and didn't trade a single item til lvl 85. Trading does NOT = winning. |

Since trade is part of the game (i mean, not the core game, but almost) it should be possible for any player to have access to it without paying. I still consider your point on the bot issue, but the main problem in this case in communication. If it seems like its P2W, it's shit. |

Even more for the people who are complaining, spend $5, get 50 points, today's micro-transaction sale is prem tab upgrade for 10 points. Upgrade all your 4 tabs and have change.
No one is stopping you trading, and moreso, there will be more items for sale, which will make things cheaper for the people that dont generally sell things. They could have introduced an entirely different set of tabs for trading which they could have made whatever price each 100pts say? yet they didn't. " Premium Tabs are a feature all on their own, this is now part of that feature. No one is forcing you to buy them, but hey, why not support the game you've played for free for however long (at no cost to you). There is still the same options you had before to sell your items. This is not the time to go ham on such short notice, up to this point GGG left nobody out in the end. The only thing that is happening at present is folks crying "pay to win", which simply fractures the community as we know it. As far as communication goes: Look at this threat... How much good will any post made by some GGG representative do, now that people are still going crazy? Way over half of the people taking part in this discussion seem to be literally waiting for the next best reason to dump their share once more. Just wanted to ask, werent the trade improvements goin to be implemented today? Like it said in the OP? Sorry if I'm being too eager, I know that "today" is not over yet:) Just wanted to make sure if its today or is it going to be implemented Friday night when Ascendancy goes live....
