Do you have actually 3 starting locations? You pick 2 sub classes and what about your own? Can you start from you own as well?

From what I understand...
You get 6 Ascendancy Points: Option A: 2 Points to unlock Character Area 2 Points to unlock Ascendancy Class 2 Points to unlock their Starting Area Option B: Spend all 6 Points to unlock Character Area Option C: Spend 4 Points to unlock Ascendancy Class Spend 2 Points to unlock Character Area Just another Forum Signature in a Sea of Signatures. Elementalist/Inquisitor Ascendant looks pretty damn good. You get piercing without the skill juggling, golem boost, huge crit boost on burning etc mobs, elemental conflux, consecrated ground etc.
Swap out one of them for Slayer and you have a huge damage boost. Seriously, why would anyone NOT make a Scion now? You can even swap to the starting point of another class and keep the other one too...its honestly the most OP crap I've ever seen introduced in any class based game I've ever played. |

" Just one example - Bow builds still better with ranger\assassin. Scion is about 80% noob trap. Meta oneshot clear builds will still be better with pure classes. But some builds will shine with Scion for sure, just very few. -Forever Casual-
